Hi!
I'm new around the forums, but have been visting ud.com for a long time as it is such a great site!
I have an odd question: I'm curious what program is used for the screen grabs that are on the reviews for the various Disney DVDs. Does anyone know what program the site uses?
I've used a couple programs and haven't been *very* happy with the results and was curious to try the one being used here.
MANY thanks in advance!

Screen grabs on UD.com
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the kind word. I'm glad you registered for the forum.
I use WinDVD 2.1 for the screencaps, and Paint Shop Pro to resize. Newer versions of WinDVD unfortunately don't allow you to take screencaps. That's a shame, since it's one of the best things about a DVD-ROM drive.

I am interested in making screen caps too, but my interactual player won't allow me to do that. I tried to search for a download of this Windvd 2.1, but I can't find a download ANYWHERE! I found Platinum 5.7, but no 2.1, do you know where I could possibly find a download?Luke wrote: I use WinDVD 2.1 for the screencaps, and Paint Shop Pro to resize. What's the website, and what's the cost to buy it after the 30 days are up? Thanksyoda_four wrote:I got the trail version of Intervideo WinDVD 5. Works great and takes screengrabs. Because it's only a trial, you only get 30 days. It's the time to take out your collection and take you favourite screens, if you decide to go this way!
