Is my Daria DVD a bootleg?

Post by Marce82 »

Ok, so I just got the Daria Complete Series dvd on ebay, supposedly brand new.

I got it in the mail today, and when I opened it, it gave me pause: the art on the case is mildly blurry, and the color of the skin on the characters is a bit yellow. The art on the discs looks a bit dark and mildly blurry... also, the one page inset if just floating inside, unattached to anything.

I looked up what the packaging is supposed to look like, and the case is supposed to be double with, with FOUR swinging trays inside.

The one I got has THREE trays, and the first and last discs are held by the case itself.

Anyone out there have the dvd? Or could help me determine if this is a bootleg or not?

HELP!

Pictures normally help more but I can't help rather than offer that sometimes places streamline packaging later on, after the first few shipments. Who knows?

You can't upload pics directly to this site. However, many image hosting sites have free registration, like:

www.photobucket.com

Once you upload pics there, it gives you a set of codes you can copy and paste (or you can just wrap image tags around the direct link) so you can post them in forums like this one. The code that works with this forum should look something like this:

Code: Select all

Hope this helps. :)
