Despite the renown of Disneyland, a year-long survey of guests found that six of the top 10 entertainment experiences were at the newer park -- California Adventure.
Disneyland marks its 56th anniversary on July 17, while Disney California Adventure recently passed its first decade.
Guests at the Disneyland Resort ranked Soarin' Over California at Disney California Adventure among their Top 10 favorite attractions or experiences.
Disney spokeswoman Michele Himmelberg said guests were randomly surveyed as they left either park from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010. The survey included shows as well as traditional rides.
The top-rated attractions at California Adventure were California Screamin', Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular, Soarin' Over California, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania and "World of Color."
The top-rated attractions at Disneyland were the "Believe … in Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular, Fantasmic!, the "Remember … Dreams Come True" Fireworks Spectacular and Space Mountain.
