In one episode (of Rocko running against Mr. Bighead for position as dog catcher), Rocko saids "Now that's just damn right cruel", which impressed me as a kid. I couldn't believe he was allowed to use the word 'damn' (and as far as I know, that was the only time he used it in the series) and would have liked other Nicktoon characters to get away with using it especially Ren from Ren & Stimpy.
You sure he did not say "down right"? I can't think that I've ever heard someone say "damn right ____". Only as an answer in the affirmative. I know Rocko got away with a lot of stuff but that sounds like his accent made a common phrase sound different, unintentionally.

I think it could have easily been misheard of Damn and really saying Darn...although if I remember correctly is probably because of Mr. Bighead's melodramatic-drag queen style voice....is where the misheard of Darn vs Damn could be....Also Mrs. Bighead was voiced by the same person who voiced Mr Bighead....if those two talk at the same type I'll take a duet of Iago and the former Aflac duck talking for two minutes any day

I'm sure Rocko used 'damn' and not "darn' or 'durn'. It made a decade-old lasting impression on me because there wasn't an 'n' sound at the end of the word to make it 'darn'. He said the line while in the dog pound and the dogs told him the terrible conditions of the place.
It seems there's some HD episodes online...I still wnat to buy this set, but mitght the online Youtube videos have them un-cut? How can I tell, I don't know all the jokes.
But apparently only one joke was cut from this set?
I finally bought this the other day from Best Buy. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet, since I'm going through Shout!'s Beast Wars release but I'm looking forward to it.
Now if only they could put out the rest of Rocko's Modern Life and Rugrats seasons 1-3 I'll have all my favorite Nicktoons on DVD. I'll probably even re-buy Hey Arnold! and AHHH!! Real Monsters (which I have from amazon's releases) just to support Shout! Factory. I would also love it if they could release all of Doug, including the episodes that were missing from season 4.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
