Treasure Planet...

Post by SV7 »

Has anyone experienced a playing flaw when the disc starts up? Film and extras play fine.

Machine is a Pioneer DV525.

No problems at all with my Pioneer DV-333 or our new Yamaha DV-C6660. Is the Disc clear? Does it pixallate at all?

Yeah basically the flaw occurs from the opening credits to the end credits. J/k TP is very underated.

Film plays fine actually, as do all the extras I've seen so far. It's basically the start-up - the Disney video logo - staggered audio/visual.

Have to say, if you hit the wrong link, it really does seem to confuse the player when playing this disc though - sort of loses its map (oddball authoring, I guess!)

Speaking of DVD flaws...

Sometimes when i watch a DVD random subtitles/captions appear even though the subtitles are turned off. Just one line. That's it. I'm confused. Does anyone else have this problem?
