Yes, yes, the rolling eyes are "absolutely disgusting."
That said, "milking" and "building upon" can often be seen as the same thing by many people. But this is Disney, so there's no surprise.
That said, I'm actually excited about the short. The parade thing sounds kind of stupid though.

Yes. Yes, the fact that they are building upon previous successes is "absolutely disgusting."
Guys .... They have already made a Rapunzel Bride Doll :L:L
Here's an image
And here's a slightly different version ..
It is
really likely that this is what they will appear in when they get married because in the
Art Of Tangled Book It has an identical version of Flynns Wedding Suit (to the first dolls)
I like Flynns outfit alot! I hope they make Rapunzel's dress more Giselle like
What do you guys think?
.. Oh and welcome to the forum

Um, shouldn't Bride Rapunzel have short brown hair?
Oh, that's right. Not only do little girls have to be married in order to be happy, they also need to have long, blonde hair.

They probably did that because they'll be pimping the blonde hair on all their products, so they don't want to confuse the 5 year olds.
I've never got it though, because I liked her better as a brunette myself.

When think of Rapunzel, you think of long ass blonde hair. They did this for iconic marketing.
Either way, I never like the short brown hair look. So this is cool even though i don't buy dolls. lol

Agreed. While they were mainly following the original story, Flynn still would've broken the spell if he cut only some of Rapunzel's hair off.

WarriorDreamer wrote: Hi I'm new here and I think it's great for Rapunzel to finally be added to the lineup. I thought for a moment she wasn't going to because she was a CGI character. I don't mind them making a big deal about it, I mean I doubt it's anything to do with Tiana being African American, maybe just because Tangled was such a big success and a huge acomplishment in animation.

Also agreed.
Pinkrenata, based on your last couple posts I feel as though you don't understand the idea of being a business, and marketing products successfully.

Agreed on the brunette, but what 5-yr-old who's seen the movie would be confused?

This short is a lot better than making a full horrible DTV Sequel ....and maybe her hair grew back and she dyed it?? .......IDK...maybe they'll throw some sorta bull crap that her hair grew back and it has magic again...yeah I know it would be stupid to pull that off but when it comes to Disney and DTV sequels or spin offs....logic pretty much goes out the window
And I wonder whether in this short she'll marry Flynn Rider or Eugene Fitzgerald
