Skyway building in Magic Kingdom to make way for Rapunzel
As a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, one of the forums I frequent on the internet is WDWMagic. One of the regular posters on that site, Raven, has often offered some insider knowlege on future plans at Disney Imagineering and his tips have more often than not proved to be correct. Recently, he has posted information on what will become of the old Skyway building that is currently being demolished in Magic Kingdom. It seems to be common knowledge that the area will be revamped and new restrooms will be installed, allowing the existing restrooms next to the nearby Peter Pan's Flight to be removed so that a next-gen interactive queue can be installed. According to Raven, the new restrooms aren't the only things to be built; buildings related to Tangled, including the tower, will also be constructed to block any view of the Haunted Mansion building that lies behind the Skyway. The pathway into Liberty Square will also be changed, allowing easier access between the two areas and easing the traffic that builds in the area due to the stroller parking. Now obviously this news should be taken with a grain of salt until we actually have any official confirmation but as I said, Raven has in the past proved to be accurate and reliable in his posts so we may soon see more significant changes to the park beside the Fantasyland Expansion.

The post in question is #326. As I said before, take this information at face value, today I've seen rumours on the internet that the area will be themed to The Princess and the Frog rather than Tangled so anything could be planned at this moment in time.
I don't think this would count as part of the official expansion but it is work that has been needed for quite some time. The Skyway building has been abandoned since 1999 and with the congestion caused by the stroller parking in that area, Disney did need to do something to alleviate the problem. That being said, if these plans do come to be realised it would be good to see Disney investing more money to improve the park.
