Why is it that when people here have nothing important to say, they must create a thread about something that means nothing? Seriously, which disney prince do you feel most sorry for?!? I mean really... It was bad enough with all the VS. threads. This is forum filler, can we stick with meat and potatoes please. Threads like this push down more important, more relevant threads.
This probably comes off mean, and I try not to be rude online, but can we all be a little more thoughtful when it comes to creating threads.

You're right. I was so freaking mad when I noticed this bumped the thread about the 21 bodies found outside of a Mexican town and the one about the US pledging $26 million to aid Libyan rebels to the next page. It really drives me crazy when I see posts about Disney on here. Nice going Jackoleen.MutantEnemy wrote:RANT:

On the topic of "spoilers", it's true that some people may not have seen the film. With the likes of Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast, though, practically everyone has seen them (or knows the story from a traditional source), and I don't think there's a need to cry "SPOILERS". I would say that a spoiler constitutes something that reveals an unexpected twist, or anything going into the third act. Again, though, EVERYBODY knows how the likes of Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast end, either from Disney or the traditional story, and what may have been unexpected twists back when the films first came out will be now so widely known, even by people who haven't even seen the film (such as the death of Bambi's mother).
Anyway, in the spirit of Jackoleen...
SPOILER ALERT FOR "ENCHANTED"!!!! (I suppose less people will have seen this film compared to, say, The Little Mermaid or Mary Poppins, so I'll let it slip)
On the prince I feel the most sorry for, I'd vote for Prince Edward from Enchanted. I mean, he's brave, kind and handsome, the image of a perfect fairytale husband. He selflessly goes and tries to save his one true love, but ends up in a world full of emotions and concepts far too complex for him. What's more, his one true love has come to develop beyond the state of sweet innocence and has become a woman of the world of reality. Ultimately, she can never revert to how she was back when she was in the fairyland, and she falls for someone else. The handsome prince does get a new bride, but still, he's quite a tragicomic character, proved to be ultimately naive and, dare I say it, stupid.

The only ones I feel somewhat sorry for are Naveen and Beast, since they clearly had shoddy childhoods. Oh, and of course Aladdin, who had to become a thief just to survive. All three have negative characteristics that were a product of their environment/upbringing.
Eric didn't really have it that bad. Even with the hypnosis and almost marrying Ursula (
), he still ended up with Ariel.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
Speak for yourself. I liked the "vs." threads. This place was rapidly becoming a ghost town, so it's nice to see some new fresh air. I don't like all those threads about "upcoming-maybe-nope, cancelled-oh, wait, rebooted- no, still not-maybe in 10 years Disney movies" where every rumor from random schmucks get dissected for 50 pages on a row. My solution? I stay away from them. You should try it. It could work for you, too.MutantEnemy wrote:RANT: Why is it that when people here have nothing important to say, they must create a thread about something that means nothing? Now that would be an interesting thread.Jackoleen wrote:"Which Disney prince would you cheat on your current significant other with?"

I agree. the vs threads are interesting. I might start one or two of my own

As for what Prince I feel the most sorry for. I would say Adam. He went through all those years of remourse.

I love Snow White but that was hilstericalious.
Anyway of the 3 mentioned I would probably say the Beast/Adam because he seems to have had a hard life and all. Overall I would say Snow's Prince he gets so much slack for looking like a girl, for not doing anything in his movie to actually warrant him being the hero ect. The poor guy.
