I love the new album ! Wanted to know your thoughts.
So UD monsters, what's your favorite song is from Lady Gaga's new album, which is AMAZING !
To me it's Scheiße (sheisse), but Government Hooker is a close second.
Other tracks that really stand out (being an uberly-awesome album that means a lot) are Marry the Night, Heavy Metal Lover and Born this Way (I think this is the most meaningful song she ever wrote, and to me it's conincedental that she realesed the single at a time when I really needed someone to tell me to be proud of who I am.).
I'm not a fan of the three tracks on the special editon tbh, and besides I had to own the normal edition, coz the cover of her with as a half human/ half motorcycle is just too awesome ! *PAWS UP*

We must be somewhat the reverse. The three bonus songs were probably my favorites of the album.
I did like “Scheisse” though. “Marry the Night,” "Americano," “Bad Kids” and “Hair” were probably my favorite non-single songs on the main album. Still love “Judas” and “You and I,” of course. Even though I'm ambivalent towards some of the other songs, there aren't any songs I dislike.
Overall though, my favorite song of all is “Fashion of His Love.” I freaking love this song!
I wonder if she'll have another mini-album like The Fame Monster? I hate waiting for more.

I've listened to some of the songs. I've enjoyed it, but I've spent more time playing "spot the influence" as I can hear many other songs I know within these tracks. "Born This Way" for example has rifts from Madonna's "Express Yourself", in fact on more than one occasion my brother and I have descended into singing the EY lyrics on top of the song

"Fashion of His Love" is my favorite. I also love "Americano", "Bad Kids", "Hair", "Scheiße", and "Judas". Overall, I think it's my favorite album from her so far (I'm not sure though. I need to go back and listen to The Fame/Monster).

No one likes "Bloody Mary"? I freaking love it! Since purchasing the album, I've noticed that each song in some matter or another manages to get stuck in my head. IMO there isn't really a weak track on the album. I haven't decided if this surpasses The Fame yet though.
I think my favorite song from the album right now is "The Edge of Glory". I love it so much that I'm going to perform it at a variety show in August. Now I just need to find (or write) the instrumentation of the sax solo. btw, if any of you know where I can find that it'd be a great help!

MY THOUGHTS
*I HATE the cover.
*Fame Monster was a much better album.
*I think the most obvious rip off on the album is Fashion of His Love. I thought Whitney Houston's Dance With Somebody right away. Have to say Im amazed that GAGA is getting all kinds of flack for HER songs sounding similar to other artists' work yet Katy Perry has barely ruffled a feather with her hit single ET sounding almost identical to Not Gonna Get Us by TATU.
*Anyone who doesnt think Americano is a weak track on this album.....I just dont know what to say. HAHA I cant even make it all the way through that song.
*That said this album is a good listen. I knew it was going to be hard to top the awesome FAME MONSTER. For me it doesnt but its a great effort!

Bloody Mary is actually interesting Singy.. I'm still trying to find out the meaning behind it though, is she Mary Magedaline, supposedly in love with Jesus Christ, who's trying to accept the fact that Jesus got crucified/resurrected ? It could also mean she is the Mother Mary, who has to accept that Jesus is with God and that he had to suffer for the sins of mankind.
A-net when I first heard any of Gaga's songs its not love at first sight, wether it's Bad Romance or LoveGame. But some of the songs in this album I can instantly like, so to me this is defenitly her best work so far.

I agree that The Fame Monster was her best album--reason being, it’s shorter. I liked just as many tracks on the other two albums, but the rest is filler. Cut out the filler and you have The Fame Monster.
That said, I still love the album. "Fashion of His Love" may have a similar sound in the chorus to the Houston song, but if I had to pick, "FoHS" >>>>>>>>>>> "IWDWS." Definitely not one of my favorite Houston songs.
And, yes, I liked "Americano."
