except they couldnt've easily used the heartless, as the diaries in KH1(or 2) clearly state that Heartless were a very new discovery made after BBS.

I’m pretty sure in the first game, Leon and the others said HB was destroyed 9 years ago. So BbS was set maybe a year before that time? It would've been much better to use the Heartless rather than invent some random creatures that have (at the moment) no significance. Especially considering the Heartless could've been around for a while before they finally destroyed HB. I know the Ansem reports from the first game mentioned a bunch of experiments Ansem did (though I'm completely confused as to who wrote these reports with all the other stuff they've introduced *sigh* ), but he didn't invent the real Heartless. They'd most likely been around for a while, if not forever/since the worlds were separated. If ever there was darkness in someone hearts, considering they are "darkness made real," as Yensid said.

The thing that really confuses me is that the Unversed are "bad emotions" or something, but...isn't darkness/Heartless caused by evil emotions (rage, jealousy, thirst for power)? How do you get darkness in your heart otherwise, if it's not connected to emotions/actions?

I'm guessing Nomura's going to introduce some triple-threat thing or something (Unversed, Nobodies, Heartless). Ay-yay-yay.

Only the heartless reportedly did not enter the realm of light (hence, why they were not discovered) until Xehanort started experimenting with darkness, so it wouldn't make sense for them to appear in BBS, outside the Final Mix episode.

In the meantime, heartless arent based on emotions as much as pure instinct. They act like Bees-incredibly mass-thinking and obedient, and will follow a new queen when they tire of the old one.

Here's my analysis.

1.We see Kairi running down the beach to Sora in a lead-in to a cutscene we saw 9 years ago. The number 1 appears

2.Aqua's walking up to Ansem the Wise in the RoD. The numer 0 appears

3. Everything we saw in Blank Points(which plays automatically at the start of the episode) rewinds with digital video effects. until we reach the ending of the Final Episode in the english version. The number 0.5 appears, stating that this happens between BBS and KH1.

4. Aqua's in the Realm of Darkness looking at her wayfinder. She says a few things that in English dont really mean too much and are predictable except "we will be at the real world again".

5. Boss battle cutscene. The enemies are actually very hard(for this game), but thankfully the established waves dont respawn. The Heartless are here because they always existed.

6.Aqua walks onto a surprising scene: the Castle of Dreams. It apparently already fell to Darkness. Time goes faster in the Realm of Light, so It's probably been years since she was in that world. "A Fragmentary Passage" appears.

7. Mickey's in the RoD. This is probably during KH1. He seems to be looking determinedly at something we dont see.

8. Riku carries Kairi's limp body to the edge of Big Ben in Neverland in KH1.

9. Donald and Goofy are in Traverse Town, looking for Sora.

10. The gang from Twiligh Town-Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Kairi-are staring up at the Old Mansion. This is during KH2, as Kairi never visited them again.

11. Sora's asleep in his pod, watched by DiZ

12. Riku watches from above as Roxas and Xion walk by in Twilight Town's Tram Common.

13. We see the young Xehanort from the beginning on DI's beach, looking out over the ocean. He turns around slowly, morphing into Ansem Seeker of Darkness, then finally Xemnas.

14. Quick flashes of Master Xehanort.

15. Sora sits on the Paupou tree, and is gone miliseconds later, representing his KH1 journey possibly.

16. Same with Ven. Could this mean Ven was moved? Only one who knows the secret of Castle Oblivion could get to him, and so far, only Aqua's qualified to know.

17. "Birth By Sleep: Volume Two".

This is speculation, but what this video teases could possibly be a game that takes place between and over the other KH games with the characters whose povs we havent really seen yet. Or one in which we do play as a primary character with cutaways to others.

I hope hope hope they have a Birth by Sleep: Volume 2. BbS was the best game since the original, so I'd love another. Who am I kidding--of course there'll be another! They've milked this series to death, but in this case I'm glad.

Maybe they'd have a Mickey, Aqua, Riku combo this time? They are all keyblade bearers, with stories that haven't been completely told yet. I haven't been this excited by the franchise in years.

Also, it's nice to see that Riku-Kairi scene at the clocktower finally end up somewhere after being cut from the original game.

Wow, there's going to be a sequel to Birth by Sleep? Hopefully, it'll be on the DS this time!
