Anyone else have their 1 year DMR anniversary this month?
I received my email for a "free" Blu-ray on June 1, and redeemed it for Chicken Little, which shipped the next day. Options were still the same: Chicken Little, Eight Below, and The Rookie.
I probably wouldn't have bought Chicken Little on my own, but I'll add it to my collection for $4.99 (S&H).

Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I would do that. I paid $25 for it, and don't regret it at all. It is a fantastic piece of history, plus the Ub Iworks documentary is great. If you are into Disney history, you will love it. Even if you aren't that into Disney history, the cartoons still hold some entertainment value, at least for me. 800 points is a steal.LySs wrote:So now I have 838 points. It's actually 825, but you've got a good point. I do love Disney animation and its history so I may go for it.Alphapanchito wrote:I would do that. I paid $25 for it, and don't regret it at all. Although that Beauty and the Beast keepsake box is highly tempting too.

I just ordered it!disneyboy20022 wrote:

Yeah they have been sold out for awhile.Sky Syndrome wrote:I just put in the code for Tangled and don't see the offer of a Rapunzel charm bracelet you get for free (but pay to ship) for putting in a code from a copy of Tangled anywhere on the site. The offer wasn't suppose to end till the 30th of this month so they must have run out of bracelets. Dang.
I wish they would add a few more worthwhile Blu-ray titles as rewards. I have over 3,000 points and there isn't anything that I really want to redeem them for. However, if they added a few of their less "popular" animated Blu-rays to the rewards list, like Dinosaur (even the 1 BD disc edition is fine), I'd go for that in a second. I don't really want any of the Blu-rays they have on there now.
The only thing I ever redeemed my points for since signing up a year ago was Finding Neverland on DVD, which ended up being fullscreen. Since I wanted widescreen, I'm trying to sell it on eBay (unopened) and no one is interested, even at $3.99 including shipping!
<-- That's supposed to be laughing, not a quivering upper lip.
