The New DVD Thread 2

Post by Jack »

Since I don't want the original thread to get too long, please start posting your new DVD news in this thread! In honor, here's a special trailer:

<center>*UD Logo*

Narr: This summer . . . .

*Flash to a DVD*

Narr: The sequel to the original smash hit . . . ARRIVES.

*Dick Van Dyke waves hello*

DVD: Hi, I'm Dick Van Dyke, or as my initials say, "DVD". But don't confuse me for Digital Video Discs, which also have the initials "DVD". Because that's what this thread is for - not your new Dick Van Dykes, but your new Digital Video Discs.

*Big words fly towards the screen*

THE NEW DVD THREAD 2

DVD: "Good looks run in my family. And they run deep."</center>

Today I got So I Married an Axe Murderer

We watched it in English class, and I loved it so much I just had to get it! Don't let the title fool you, it is NOT a horror movie! (I hate horror  ) It's a hillarious comedy with Mike Myers! :)

Got The Parent Trap (Hayley Mills version) the past weekend, along with that Stay Tuned book that had the DVD and CDS (a waste of 5.99, IMO). Also, got Chronological Donald for my birthday (Monday), and a couple weeks ago, the family got LOTR: Return of the King (for 14.99 at Target, but I think it was a one-day sale, cause the next day it was back to 22.99)

I've gotten loads of DVDs this month, and I've also gotten into trouble. However, I thought I'd mention I got the 8 disc Jeeves and Wooster: The Whole Jolly Lot from Amzon.co.uk for a bargain price the other day.

Sadly, seeing Jeeves on screen will only bring back memories of my own long gone butler...
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Hi Everyone.

Tonight I picked up the following

"The Simpsons Season 3" box set
"Manchester United - Beyond the Promised Land"

Anyone use a good program for maintaining your DVD collection. I've seen DVD Profiler, the free version, but just wanted to see what you guys use.

It has been a while since I posted here, so I'll try to remember everything I have picked up since I last posted (at least the recent stuff):

- Treasures x 4 (obviously!)
- Bubba Ho-Tep
- Doctor Who: Curse of Fenric (2 disc)
- Streetfighter (Sonny Chiba, not the one based on a game...)

And I got some review DVDs from 'Bits this week...
- Kung Fu: Season 1
- Assault on Precint 13
- Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
- King of Comedy

I'm sure there is more, but that is all I can remember...

Although technically not a "new" DVD, I just traded for Road to Perdition DTS .

What exactly do you mean by "maintain"?
