Toky wrote:well im looking for a nice example of the blu-ray/dvd combo pack. I really liked the US version(the sort of book, which can be foulded open), but any other decent version with a nice slip could do :P
I did some research on the boarding cost and i believe that i wouldn't have to pay them if i only would buy one dvd from amazon(as long as its beneath 22 euro's)
well of course europe has an other regio, b for blu-ray, so don't know if the american blu-ray can be played in european players( a friend told me about the possibility of ripping the region code, so that would make it easier :))

thanks for helping me milojthatch, i appreciate that very much :)
Ok, I found this:

http://www.amazon.de/Die-Chroniken-von- ... 837&sr=8-4

If what you want is the Blu Ray case like the one used in the US, I may be able to give you mine as I re-package all my discs anyway and it would just be recycled later.

PM me and we can talk. Maybe I can help you.

I finally saw this about 2 weeks ago. It was a bit dull to me, tbh, which is unfortunate considering it's my favorite book. The whole thing meandered. I did like the actor for Eustace though, so I'm looking forward to whenever The Silver Chair gets here. I wish his dragon design had been better, but I thought the serpent's design was really good (though it looked more like a worm?). I thought they did the Reepicheep character really well here, just like in Caspian. Aslan seemed almost non-existent in this one though. I missed Peter's and Susan's actors, but I loved their very-brief cameo. It's too bad that Lucy will be gone now, too.

All in all, it wasn't that bad. It was just middle-of-the-road; probably on level with Caspian.

Any word if Fox will eventually release this one in a regular Blu-Ray case? I just picked-up the first two movies at Costco for $12.99 each in a regular BR case, and this cardboard Dawn Treader case it ticking me off. 3-discs can easily fit in a regular case.

Wal-Mart has it in a regular case, but its a bare bone release (no special features).

Give it time. I agree, I hated the cardboard case to.
