What about mass murders, serial killers, dictators, people who have brought the death and suffering of millions of people (e.g. Hitler). When such a person is eliminated and cannot harm people any more it's only logical and understandable people will rejoice. That's why I disagree with your argument and find it silly and out of touch with the real world and the human condition.

First of all, he allways denied a connection between al-Qaida and 9/11. Just because your government told otherwise means not they're right.

Interestingly, the FBI did not list Osama as 'wanted' for the 9/11 attacks.

Time to ask yourself why two towers which were constructed to keep staying, if airplanes crash into them EXPLODED from the BOTTOM.

On that day, the capital and the presidential palace was being bombarded by its own military forces, led by general Augusto Pinochet, in a horrible terrorist attack which led to the assassination of democratically elected president Salvador Allende and the installment of 17 years of brutal dictatorship. This coup, of course, was planned, set up, financed, supported and assisted by US president Richard Nixon and the CIA.

That was *their* "9/11".

It means that some measure of justice has been served to the man who orchestrated and claimed responsibility for a horrific act of terrorism that killed around three thousand innocent people on 9/11.[...]

I would never want to belittle that horrible act, but... today, somebody pointed out to me that "9/11" happens ever year 15 times in the US. That person was talking about the 45,000 Americans that die each year because they don't have health insurance. Yet nobody seems to care about that. It's not on the media all the time. I know, I know, it doesn't have the same impact by far of a terrorist attack, but... dead is dead.

I thought that was common knowledge. It's not a conspiracy theory; the US government doesn't even deny it anymore. Of course it wasn't the first, let alone the last, Latin-American coup that was supported by the US, but never has a coup been so directly linked to the office of the president and the sceretary of state (then Henry Kissinger, who later won the Nobel Peace Prize).

President Salvador Allende of Chile was a democratically elected socialist, who implemented a 'radical' left agenda, including massive land reform and distribution of wealth from the white ruling class (who had been dominating the country forever) to the poor, wanting to create a more egalitarian society. At the peak of the Cold War, Nixon & Kissinger absolutely didn't want a socialist running a country in their "backyard" (as the US denigratingly referred to Latin-America). Also, they wanted to "test" the economic theories of a scholar at the Chicago School of Economics, Milton Friedman. He proposed a radical form of absolute free-market policies as the way to prosperity. Nixon & Kissinger decided to use Chile as a 'laboratory' to experiment with these theories. But they knew the people would never accept this voluntarily and that's why they got Pinochet to impose military rule on the country to implement Friedman's theories. In fact, lots of Pinochet's economic advisers all came from the Chicago School of Economics. After only a few years of Pinochet's rule, Friedman's theories proved to be disastrous for the country's economy.

I would give links, but this can be easily Google'd. I do want to add this video; it's part of the movie 11'09''01, in which several different directors made short films of approximately 11 minutes, reflecting the attacks of 9/11. The one that stands out is the one that's not about 9/11/01, but instead about 9/11/73. You'll notice the similarities between Santiago and New York City under attack:
