The Black Hole is my favorite, although the history behind the other two are a lot more interesting than the movies themselves (which are still quite good). A documentary all about the making/unmaking/remaking of The Watcher in the Woods would certainly hold my attention for a good 90 minutes.

Sounds good, but I'd be happy to settle for the Blu-ray equivalent of the intended Anchor Bay release too.Escapay wrote:A documentary all about the making/unmaking/remaking of The Watcher in the Woods would certainly hold my attention for a good 90 minutes.

Of the three my favorite is Something Wicked..., but I like them all to an extent.

Ditto. Though if the Blu-Ray equivalent requires me to stop the movie at 1:10:40 and go to the Special Features in order to access the Other World Ending, then I'd rather stick with my wishful thinking.Flanger-Hanger wrote:Sounds good, but I'd be happy to settle for the Blu-ray equivalent of the intended Anchor Bay release too.Escapay wrote:A documentary all about the making/unmaking/remaking of The Watcher in the Woods would certainly hold my attention for a good 90 minutes.

I'd love if the Blu-Ray featured the following:
-Theatrical Release (84min) & Director's Cut (108min) of the film via seamless branching
-John Hough's 2002 Anchor Bay commentary
-New commentary with Hough, Lynn-Holly Johnson, and Carroll Baker
-New Documentary (90 minutes, woohoo!)
-Photo Galleries
-Trailers & TV Spots
Alas, I fear we'll be waiting a long time simply for Disney to release a barebones blu-ray.

Saw Black Hole when I was about 13 the part towards the end when the mad genius is trying to turn people into humanoids or whatever the term was gave me nightmares for weeks haven't seen it since.
Something Wicked This Way Comes was just strange didn't care for it particularly.
Watcher in the Woods not one of my favorites either but definitely favorite out of the 3. Was an amazing production for its time especially for something out of the Disney studios great effects for the era and an amazing in depth script. Granted parts of it were a bit to out there for me but still quite a groundbreaking Disney picture.
