Yes, on the 3D version artwork that leaked three months ago it stated "3D Blu Ray/Blu Ray/DVD/Digital Copy":

Same for the 3D edition of BATB which is due at the same time:

Could it be we might be losing the second disc on the BATB 3D version (one 3D Blu Ray, one 2D Blu Ray, DVD and Digital copy)?

Not to venture too far off topic, but is anyone who already bought the Diamond Edition of BATB planning to upgrade to the 3D combo pack so soon?

I just bought my first 3D combo yesterday with Tangled, mostly because it was the cheapest option. I don't have a 3DTV or any plans to get one, but I'll probably be buying the 3D combos from here on out, as they will more than likely be the only way to use the DMR coupon. However, I don't think I'd be willing to re-buy a film I already have just to get the 3D copy and/or the digital copy, especially since I don't even know if I'll ever go 3D.

Just thought about that myself. I'll buy the 3D versions from now on as well, and for the same reasons. Regarding titles I already have it depends. I will not buy the 3D versions of films like Alice In Wonderland or Bolt, but I'll consider BATB as long as it's a good offer and we won't be losing the second blu ray disc of bonus material like we discussed earlier. and if i can get a good price on selling the old one :)

Obviously fanmade, but I thought I'd share these

What a beautiful cover. I'm impressed. I wish Disney would make a cover like that.

This has been around on multiple forums for at least a year or two now. It's fake. Disney isn't that good at covers.

^^ In the bottom left corner it says "By Barney", and it's dated '08. And it also just doesn't look official enough. Look at the blue blu-ray line at the top, that just doesn't look like it normally does.

In the bottom right it also says "exclusively made for VCBOXART.COM"

Does anyone find it strange that they didn't put out a press release for this yet? considering the press release for BATB was released March 29th, 2010.

Sorry if this has been posted before but I just noticed Amazon updated their products page for the releases (still no date) and we can now see the cover art for the 2 disc DVD which is probably slated for 7 weeks after the blu ray:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

notice how it's called "DVD Edition" maybe it's just 1 disc?!

I like the BD cover better. I just wish they kept the orange theme of the PE.

I wonder if the coupon will only be for the 3D version? I know some people were able to use the 3D Tangled coupon on the standard edition, but if the coupon is for the 3D only, I'll probably just go ahead and get that to save myself the hassle and gain the digital copy.

So I was still harbouring some hope that this cover would be changed, but I guess not. But it does seem better with the Diamond border.

So wait a second...they went back to the sideways title for the 3D BluRay packaging? I could've sworn the title was originally near the top of the cover. That 3D in the corner is just silly.
