Technically, audiences in 4 cities internationally were able to see it the last two weeks of 1999---in the US, I believe, one could see it in New York. Wide release in IMAX didn't begin until December 31/January 1, and a *true* wide release didn't come until later in 2000. I still would have had to drive 2 hours to see it in January, so I don't have a problem with classifying it as a film of the 2000s.
I just remember seeing it in NY in 99 so I always counted it as the last Disney animated feature to cap the 90's. But since they did name the film "2000" and released it wide that year, I guess it's fair to count it with either decade.

OK, this ought to be tough....

30s: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (No, really!?)
40s: Fantasia (second choice: Bambi)
50s: Cinderella (second choice: Alice in Wonderland)
60s: The Sword in the Stone (second choice: 101 Dalmatians)
70s: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (second choice: Robin Hood)
80s: The Little Mermaid (second choice: The Black Cauldron)
90s: Beauty and the Beast (second choice: The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
00s: Brother Bear (second choice: The Princess and the Frog)
10s: Tangled (again.... seriously!?)

The 90s was probably the hardest for me to choose, but really, the 00s came kinda close, too... I mean, I forgot how much I liked a lot of them until I started comparing them.

<b>You said it! I couldn't pick one so I had a 2nd & 3rd runner up. I was originally going to put the movies from my most favorite to least from the different years like the 50's would be Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Lady & the Tramp & then Peter Pan.

The only thing is it's been so long since i've seen some of the movies so I can't say they're my favorite. I haven't seen Oliver & Company in at least maybe 9 years but I know I've seen it before & I recently bought Black Cauldron so I chose it as my runner up (I did like it though).

I just kind of thought about it & came up with "whichever movie I gravitate to watch the most would be my favortie haha" :)
