Anyone ever seen these versions of fairy tales.

They did nine stories

Hansel and Gretel
Snow White
The Frog Prince
Beauty and the Beast
Puss N Boots
Red Riding Hood
Rumpelstiltskin
Sleeping Beauty
Emperor's new clothes

I recently saw Snow White and Red Riding Hood on tv.

I've got The Emperor's New Clothes on DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. I'd like to see the others, looking at DVDAF, there are at least 6 on DVD - they have the title: Cannon Movie Tales, there may be others on DVD without that title.

After looking a bit further, it looks like The Frog Prince is the only one that isn't on DVD.

Sleeping Beauty is only in a couple of MGM Movies Collection - Kids Movies box sets - There are 3 sets, with other Cannon Movie Tales included - 10 Movies (on 5 discs, includes 8 Cannon films and two films from the 60s), 6 Movies (on 3 discs), and 4 movies (on 2 discs.)

Fairy Tales

Have either of you seen those HBO Happily Ever After fairy tales? They kind of rip off the disney versions & make them into a half hour cartoon with racial twists! For Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs they made her a native american oh and Cinderella was mexican!

I love the Cannon MovieTales. Yes, "Frog Prince" is the only one that's missing on DVD - and it's a real favourite not only amongst fans of the series, but also "Annie" collectors because of it's star, Aileen Quinn.
I'm just valentine candy and boxing-gloves!

Yes. Hansel and Gretel.

And if you're looking for a recommendation- it's a childhood favorite but I think it's still quite good. Great special effects and the like.
