Stitch! The Movie info (front page)...very cool....

Post by Loomis »

I may be slightly biased towards this release (being a BIT of a Stitch! fan), but it actually looks like a lot of fun.

It seems to be very much in the spirit of the original, particularly 625 who has the talent of "making sandwiches". Couldn't stop laughing over that one for ages :P

I know how many of you feel about the 'sequels', but I think this one might just nail it. I don't think it could possibly live up to the original for me, but even so I think this will be loads of fun.

Guess that is another one I'll have to wait until September for...

I'm looking forward to it more so than say, 101 Dalmatians II, if only because the material is fresh and not "sacred grounds." The quality in animation should be on par, from what we've seen. Hopefully, more effort will be put in story-wise. And I've heard good things about Lion King 1 1/2 too, and being a huge TLK fan, I look forward to that too.

I'm looking forward to the Stitch movie myself. I really want to know what happened to all the other previous stitches before the famous one.

I'm looking forward to this one, too-and I'm expecting something with about the same level of quality as Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins. So it shouldn't be too bad.

I don't mind saying I hope you are WAY off in that analogy. Buzz Lightyear's animation, IMO, looked cheap and rushed and I truly hope we get a better quality issue for Loomis! The Movie than that.

I'm not saying that the animation from Buzz Lightyear was great, it was just passable considering it was a DTV and TV series. If Stitch! ends up at the same level of animation, it shouldn't be too unbearable.

haha... I was about to do that with Jungle Book II, but I realised that a litho isn't worth having to own such a film... :(

Also, sad news this is... JB2 is supposedly the highest selling film right now... I think... according to CNN. :(

As for "Stitch", after "Hunchback II" I swore to myself I would never buy a cheap... er, sequel again, and this is no exception.

I just watched the trailer for it on Disney's website and the actual movie looks good but the animation doesn't. I haven't yet decided whether or not I'll be picking this up.

No surprise here. I'll most likely pass (again).
