I'm asking you specifically cause you only other person I know who into anime a lot.
So my question is where or what site can I find good reasonable price for Maison Ikkoku Box set #6, #7, and #8? (I have 1-5)
I'm asking this cause On VIZ's site it's listed in the site but it doesn't seems you can buy them or something(no Buy It button). I found out that Viz's store is with Amazon. So I went to Amazon, and my god the prices are insane.
here: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html? ... t=price</a>
Those are ridiculous.
So I went for other site and hardly any of them have any in stock.
So I'm asking you if you know any good place for me find and order them at reasonable price.

Heh, you're asking the wrong person this time! I only have sets 1-4, and I found those at a pawn shop!
Also, because of a shortage of income, and an increase in outgo, I haven't bought ANY DVD in over 2 years!
I hate Amazon sellers that jack the price up like that... It's one thing to make a profit on an OOP DVD, but 5-600 dollars is rediculous!! Plus, they inflate the price in the market, maybe another seller would have been satisfied to make double what he paid (60-80 bucks total), but sees someone selling it for 400, so he thinks he should put a higher price on his.
You are probably looking at a crap shoot now, periodically check various used shops, E-Bay, Amazon, Anime conventions, www.therightstuf.com , http://www.animecornerstore.com , and so on.
I guess Viridian is Funimation, but I was thinking Viz had some sort of cheaper re-releases of some series as well, Maison Ikkoku would be ideal for a re-release... 96 episodes, at 12 episodes per box for $40-50 MSRP each is ridiculous in today's anime climate. Now, 3 season sets (6-7 discs each) at $50 would be a lot more reasonable.
Although, you might be in luck on box 7, check Amazon.ca instead of Amazon.com.
You might try changing the thread title to (and other anime fans) or something, to get others in here.
At this point, I would almost suggest finding the remaining episodes online...
