Disney Week Mar. 28 - Apr. 3

Post by BwayJ »

To honor the release of Tangled, Disney's "50th" animated feature, on Blu-ray and DVD, I'm doing a week-long retrospective called Disney Week. Each day of this week, I'll be posting two 5-entry lists here and on my blog, Movies Now and Then (http://movies-nowandthen.blogspot.com/, covering different aspects of the animated features. Here's the complete lineup, if anyone else would like to offer their picks.

Day 1: Best Heroes and Best Heroines
Day 2: Best Serious Villains and Best Comic Villains
Day 3: Best Animal Sidekicks and Best Human/Humanoid Sidekicks
Day 4: Best "I Want" Songs and Best Love Songs
Day 5: Best Villain Songs and Best Showstoppers
Day 6: Best Openings and Best Finales
Day 7: 10 Best Animated Features

Toss in your own picks if you want to. I'll get the ball rolling with excerpts (where possible) from my choices, which can be found in full on my blog.

Best Heroes
1. The Beast - Both Robby Benson’s performance and Glen Keane’s animation make him one of the most versatile characters in all of Disney, and likely all of animation. He can be monstrous in one sequence and endearing in the next.

2. Quasimodo - Quasimodo also has a physical issue to overcome, but his personality is the polar opposite of the Beast. His origin fills us with sympathy and his actions fill us with respect, proving yet again that the inside is what matters.

3. Tramp - To viewers of any age, the Tramp is a funny and dashing mutt despite, or perhaps because of, his untamed nature. However, it wasn’t until I grew up that I noticed how much his heroism contradicts his nature. Take the sequence where he saves Lady from alley dogs. A child may think they are chasing her because she’s an intruder, but an adult may realize it’s because Lady is in heat (as evidenced by those puppies at the end). That dimension makes us admire the Tramp even more. Instead of joining the other dogs in the chase, he fights them off in her defense. His nobility is strong enough to overcome his animal instinct (at least until night falls, nudge, nudge).

4. Basil - Based more off of Henry Higgins than Sherlock Holmes, Basil is the type of character that is supremely intelligent yet socially inept. I’ve seen that type in various pieces of animation, but Basil is a more pleasant version of it than, say, Jimmy Neutron or Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory. His ego amuses us and frustrates the characters, but he still has the mind of a gentleman and the heart of a champion.

5. Bernard - Bob Newhart's voice is a perfect contrast to Bernard’s burgeoning leadership, a development that pays off handsomely in The Rescuers Down Under. He may be a hapless little guy, but his rescues show he makes up in courage what he lacks in size.

Just Missed the Cut: Aladdin, Flynn Rider, Prince Naveen

Neat idea! I'll join in:

Best Heroes:
1. Simba- His powerful journey through the circle of life makes him an effective character. His development from conceited brat to lion king is thus believable, and his feelings and actions change as well. I think he's Disney's best hero, and though many people would disagree, Simba will always be my favorite protagonist.

2. The Beast- As BwayJ said, he's a very deep character. You never really know what to expect from him. His gruffness and eventual softening is touching to watch, so he's second.

3. Pinocchio- A classic example of character development. His compassion and diligence win out in the end over his naive, rash actions. The scene in which he comes back to life is one of my favorites.

4. Quasimodo- His heartwarming personality and compassion really sets him apart from the other characters. It shows that beauty lies from within.

5. Aladdin- Like Quasimodo, but with more charm. He has his selfish moments, but the scene where he gives his hard-earned bread to the children gets me.

Best Heroines:

1. Rapunzel- She really does nothing wrong, she's kind, caring, and only wants to see the lanterns. She doesn't need a prince or a fancy palace, she's just looking for purpose in her life. Plus, her usage of hair is AMAZING.

2. Mulan- She just wants to help her family; none of this romance, sitting, and waiting stuff. She takes action, and boy does she prove herself. Of course, her amazing character had to be killed by the sequel, but let's pretend that doesn't exist.

3. Cinderella- She works hard, and really is strong for putting up with all the crap her family gives her. She totally deserved her reward, and personally, I'm surprised she didn't order her family to be executed after she was queen.

4. Belle- She also is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Sometimes she seems a little weak and classic princessy, but overall her character shines out.

5. Tiana- Like Cinderella, she works hard (probably harder). I really don't see anything wrong with her character, maybe a little clingy to old customs, but I can see why she needed to learn her lesson. And geez, how is she still alive after all those years of work?

Here's the Best Heroines.

1. Mulan - Aside from maybe Esmeralda, Mulan is the only Disney heroine who can legitimately kick butt. Hers may be the most impossible odds stacked against a Disney heroine, and she overcomes them with style and intelligence.

2. Belle - An inevitable choice, yes, but a deserved one. Beauty and the Beast wouldn’t quite be the same without Belle’s sharp and discerning mind.

3. Tiana - In addition to being one of Disney’s two most gorgeous princesses (for the scarce twenty minutes we get of her as a human), Tiana is a rather well-measured character. She proudly asserts her hard-working attitude in our faces, but she shows enough vulnerability to avoid being robotic.

4. Cinderella - She admittedly is not developed enough to carry the movie herself, but she still shows enough personality to earn our support. She admirably tries to stay positive through her ordeal, and I love how she strives to keep her stepfamily from getting the utmost satisfaction out of her humiliation.

5. Jasmine - Jasmine is the other most gorgeous princess I mentioned earlier. She really seems to share traits with Aladdin, making their pairing one of the more natural of Disney’s romantic couples.

Just Missed the Cut: Ariel, Esmeralda, Rapunzel

Best heroes & heroines:

1. Bernard & Bianca: I like how Bianca is this really posh, good looking mouse who could choose every gentleman in the Rescue Aid Society to accompany her, but instead chooses Bernard, a simple, seemingly clumsy and shy janitor. It shows she's really down-to-earth and doesn't judge someone on their looks or status. It also shows she has a fine nose for potential in unsuspected heroes. I like Bernard because despite his shyness and superstitions, he still overcomes his fear whenever Penny or Bianca are in trouble. Their relationship is the best of all the Disney couples. It's very clever the way it builds up throughout their adventure, unlike most Disney couples. So forget the character-wrecking sequel. ;)

2. Ariel: I believe I once made an essay-lenght post why I liked this character so much. (And no, it's not the obvious, SuperA.!) To repeat myself briefly: she has the strongest emotional drive of all the Disney heroines and goes the farthest to obtain her goals. I know she makes big mistakes by doing so (making a deal with the seawitch), and she rebels against her father, but that makes her character all the more authentic. I'm not a girl, but I have been a teenager and I think Disney perfectly captured that teenage attitude. Some people may say Ariel was being selfish, but hey, she was only 16! Not being a goody-goody like the previous Disney girls made her so much more interesting.

3. Basil: for all the reasons BwayJ mentioned. And I love the way he has changed in the end of the movie. He's very sad to see Olivia go, even though he tries to "keep a stiff upper-lip", like the cool Brit he is. And then he's frustrated Dawson has to go as well, but grabs at the oppertunity to keep Dawson with him.

4. Mulan: Disney's first emancipated leading lady --and no, Belle doesn't count just because she read books. Courageous, working and fighting really hard to prove herself and challenging the patriarchal society she lives in; all things that make me like her.

5. Snow White: yes, Snow White! This may be a curious choice, since most people seem to find her annoying or her voice grating, but I just think she's super-cute (no, not that way, SuperA.!). Yeah, she's naive and easily tricked, but that makes her all the more endearing. I also like how she's so sweet to all the animals and the dwarves. Okay, in real life, I probably couldn't have stand someone who's always that cheerful and that sweet, but here, I can't help but root for her.

BwayJ wrote:3. Tiana - In addition to being one of Disney’s two most gorgeous princesses (for the scarce twenty minutes we get of her as a human), [...]

Best Heroes:
1. Gaston- Image

As far as I'm concern, Gaston is a hero in my book. He teaches us what it truly means to be a man. THE MAN. His manliness radiate with so much awesome that you can't help but actually submit to it. I'm straight and I would be gay for Gaston.

He teaches me how society should be and knows who's the top. Also knows how to collect bitches for his harem, and didn't even try, except for Belle. But that because Belle is stupid and doesn't realize her true role and place in society(the kitchen).

Gaston also a hero for shooting Bambi's mother and teaching us that the natural law of nature: survival of the fittest prevails above all and that we are the top of the food chain. He also sees life as a game. A game for him, to test how awesome he is.

He's even a member of the GL Corp:

In handsomest day, in ugliest night
Let all appreciate my buns so tight
Let those can't appreciate such a pretty sight
Beware my beauty, and my muscles can light

2. Magic Carpet-Image
Of all the characters in Aladdin, this guy is really the one that give the most personality. He give off more personality than entire cast just by pure pantomime and gesture movement. He's also super smart too. Beat the shit out of a reality warping Genie in chess..and pool. How's that for a character? And he's a fucking rug. You know Aladdin characters suck when you have less personality and character than a fucking rug.

He's animated by not Glen Keane(overrated), or Bill Goldberg(Hirschfeld fanboy), But by RANDY -muthaFUCKING- CARTWRIGHT! You can't get more awesome than that, yo.

3. Stitch-Image

I love this character. Why? Because.... he's an alien, he filled with so much UnDisneyness, he lack Disney Essence ©, and can pick up cars and chuck them at your pathetic face. I Love how he's an alien. It's like he gave Walt Disney the middle finger and lead the path that Sci-fi is >>>>>>>>>than fairytales and fantasy. I love that he's an alien. Stitch also knows how to pick up wimmins and do who knows what with them. I love Stitch

Did I mention that he's an alien? I love aliens.

4. Flynn-Image

I love the fact that this playboy look like Kyoraku Shunsui, another playboy, from Bleach. Unfortunately he's not as awesome as Kyouraku, but that's for another story. I like how this guy knows how to have

Image

I mean the guy goes around stealing shit just for the lulz. He's also second best looking guy behind Gaston too. So that's some awesome points right there. He's just fun and cool guy. End of story.

5. Simba- Image

Sure this guy got all emo and shit in the Jungle, but you're forgetting the fact that this is a freaking LION. Lions are awesome. How could you not like lions? Yeah, yeah, yeah...People love Tigers. One is Jasmine's bitch and the other is afraid of FIRE. Fire, the same thing Simba- a LION- didn't even gave a damn about and went on to kick Scar's pansy ass. Take that <strike>Shao</strike>Shere Khan! Simba also has good British mannerism and love freaking Tea.

----------------------------------

Best Heroines:

1. Esmeralda- Image
How could you NOT like Esmeralda. She more beautiful and sexy than you basement dwellers(yes that includes me). She is awesome for sheer fact that the movie she's in is really about her, not Quasifaildo- and that she got three men that wants to fuck her- which is basically the entire plot.

Name one Disney heroine that tops that. Belle came close as she got Gaston's attention but Belle is stupid for going for a beast(see Bestiality) instead of THE MAN. Other than that, you can't. HaHa That how awesome Esmeralda is. She also can pole dance very well. She sure knows how to put herself for good use.

Also...Esmeralda owns a goat that I really really want to eat. Maybe Gaston can hunt him for me. He's good at that stuff.

2. Alice-Image

I like Alice.(no, i'm not a pedo. I love REAL wimmins) She cool for fact that her whole movie is a mind-fuckery acid trip. I mean what 10 year old girl dream about this shit?! I'd really like to see her psychologist and see what he has to say. Another great thing about her and her movie/story is that it's also inspiration for SUPER MARIO BROS. FUCK YEA! The mushrooms, the pipe warps, growing, shrinking. Alice is one cool girl.

OH and I love her hair(style). She so moe.

3. Kida-Image

I just like her.

4. Rapunzel-Image

She, like Alice, is so moe. Unlike Alice, she's legal. So it's all in goodness sake. She also has great taste in pets. As she, like me, love chameleons. Chameleons are badass pets to have.

5. Aurora-Image

Unfortunately the three fugly hags stole her movie.(damn bitches), but she makes that up for being super pretty and cute. She perfectly knows her role in society and knows her place. That is remaining quiet for majority of time and standing there and looking pretty for us men. Just like all wimmin should be doing. The Majority of the Disney females need to follow her example as she set the perfect one. Prince Phillip sure got good eye and taste when he see one.

I would have posted this sooner if not for classes, but now is the time to begin the second day's topic: Villains.

Disney's Five Best Serious Villains

1. Lady Tremaine - This woman has to be one of the easiest villains to hate. Even though she relishes having the beautiful Cinderella act as maid to her two ugly daughters, she always looks serene in her triumph instead of ecstatic. All she has to do is flash that cruel, vindictive smile to show her pleasure at Cinderella’s misery.

2. Maleficent - No other Disney villain is quite as grand as Maleficent. She wears a large, flowing cloak with lining that looks like flames. Her head is surrounded by bat winds and devil horns, yet she possesses a face that proves evil doesn't have to be ugly. Her control of black magic is matched only by Eleanor Audley’s commanding performance.

3. The Coachman - He makes the already horrific concept of Pleasure Island more terrifying. His plump figure and shaven Santa Claus face constitute a mask that is both inviting and creepy. The scariest part of his character is that we know nothing about him. Why is he doing this to these boys (it has to be more than just money), why is he so blasted gleeful about it and what does he do with the donkeys that can still talk?

4. Ursula - Ursula is unlike any of the villains that came before her, matching a loathsome appearance with oily demeanor brought to life by Pat Carroll’s guttural performance. She is a sublime example of the inventiveness that characterized the Disney Renaissance.

5. Chernabog - From his horrible expressions to the forced worship his demons show, everything about Chernabog screams malevolence. The musculature in Vladimir Tytla’s animation, especially in those perfectly drawn hands, deftly shows off Chernabog’s extreme power. He is the most horrible monster possible, yet it’s impossible to take your eyes off such a dynamic creature.

Just Missed the Cut: Cruella de Vil, Judge Claude Frollo, The Queen

Disney's Five Best Comic Villains

1. Yzma - The Emperor’s New Groove is funny by itself, but the element that makes it memorable is the batty Yzma, voiced by the hysterical Eartha Kitt. She has some of the funniest lines in any Disney film, and each one is acted more insanely and/or seductively than the last. Yzma’s pencil-thin build and indeterminable age make her an unending source of visual humor and of retorts from the good guys.

2. Professor Ratigan - Ratigan was Vincent Price’s only voice performance for Disney, which almost singlehandedly puts him on this list. Price is as smarmy as ever, but he delivers a rather nuanced performance. He gives us plenty of laughs, but he shows enough of his impending rage to stay menacing throughout the film.

3. Lucifer - He’s an extreme caricature of a self-absorbed cat, distinguished by his own laziness (his laughter never amounts to more than a snicker) and his frustration at having to live with meddlesome humans (watch his annoyance escalate each time Cinderella comes between him and his lunch).

4. Hades - I appreciate Hades as the character who saves the movie from being too juvenile; His angular design is rather delightful, especially that flaming hair that explodes when he’s angry. James Woods’ knack for improvising his lines while still sounding evil is quite remarkable.

5. Captain Hook - In any version of “Peter Pan” you’ll see, Captain Hook stands for adulthood trying to kill childhood and never succeeding in doing so. The Disney version is exactly that, but the film squeezes some extra laughs out of how badly he fails.

Just Missed the Cut: Honest John, Kaa, The Queen of Hearts

Again, the full version of this can be read at Movies Now and Then (http://movies-nowandthen.blogspot.com/)

Best Serious Villains:

1. Frollo- A terrifying, ruthless monster of a person whose chilling deeds probably scare little kids right out of their seats. He's one of those people you love to hate.

2. Ursula- As a kid, I was always fascinated by her slippery personality and how subtle her actions were. I always felt very happy seeing that final image of her tentacles clinging onto the ship sinking into the sea. Her final battle is my favorite of all the Disney final battles, save the Lion King.

3. Scar- He had to kill Mufasa. That ticked me off so much when I was a kid, and now I realize he must have been a good villain to make me feel that way.

4. The Evil Queen- The potion scene is one of my favorites. This is the classic, insane, one-motive villain that just connects with you.

5. Mother Gothel- Mixed emotions, crazy look, and unclear motives make Mother Gothel really rather frightening. Her character is very interesting to watch throughout the film, and her death scene is chilling (it would have been even more so if they had shown her skin turning into dust, but that'd freak everybody out).

Best Comic Villains:

1. Jafar- I don't know why I find him funny, but I do.

2. Hades- What can I say? He's downright hilarious. Disappointing as a threat, but an amazing comic villain!

3. The Cheshire Cat- Does he count? He seems to be the cause of some of Alice's problems. Then again, pretty much everyone but Alice is "technically" the villain in that movie. He's just wildly clever, and the Twas Brillig sequence is both brilliant and funny. Can YOU stand on your head?

4. Captain Hook- Funny, but still posing a slight threat. I like his pompous style.

5. Professor Ratigan- Again, just plain funny. He really only posed a threat at the end, however.

1.The Coachman

Image

Why is he #1? Cause he’s the fucking coachman. Screw Malificant, Jafar, Ursula and all those other flamboyant wannabe villains that also fail as villains. This guy is the real shit. Just look at him in that image. It screams “rape face” and you know when someone makes a rape face, someone anus is going get really sore. The guy <strike>not a pedo</strike> enjoys turning little boys <strike>on</strike> into donkey and set up creepy ass carnivals. Even Jean Grey became a poor victim of his demented carnival. Observe from 0:00 to 1:37:

<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5zLkaaH71LU?fs ... ram>

The coachman also didn’t suffer any BS Disney Justice © or “good conquor all” bullshit. He got what he wanted and will continue to do so. He’s a dick at it’s highest caliber. Another badass thing about coachman is that he doesn’t dress or appear like a villain so the mentally retarded can tell “OH he’s the BAD GUY here.” He appears as if he’s a jolly ol’ man that love to tell stories. You’ know, the ones CHILDREN love to be with. But once he put’s his rape face on, you know shit just got real. This guy is like the perfect pedophile. Not villainous looking. Can lure kids to him unsuspected. Will do the unknown to them once they’re in his web. No Disney villain going top this sick fuck. The only other man that going to give him some competition is Geppeto who’s also a pedo. But some scientist speculate that Geppeto doesn’t really knows he’s one and that the demon is actually a subconscious awareness that geppeto not aware of. Pinocchio is one big pedophile story. Even sadder is that I absolutely enjoyed this movie.....even as a kid. That’s not a good sign.

2. Judge Claude Frollo

Image

This guy gets MAN points for having good taste in wimmin, going after her for the real reason(not the BS one Quasi was going for) and providing the entire story and plot for going after this wimmin. Only reason Gaston has advantage over Frollo is that Gaston is not bound by silly crap like morals and the Christian religion. If he sees a wimmin he wants to fuck, he going to fuck that wimmin. Frollo has to get the wimmin by some ulterior motive and is a hold back by that dick name GOD. But that aside, this guy provide many awesome points. For one, I like how he make Quasimodo worthless piece of shit that he is. He actually being truthful to him. But Quasi got infected by the Disney TRUE LOVE© syndrome, Disney Moral©, and the Disney Kindness© syndrome. Which is that “your true beauty self is inside you not outside, blah blah blah.” and didn’t take in the truth. The Beast also got this evil disease. Disney evil for fucking kid’s perception of reality. This is why Frollo and Gaston are more like Heroes than villains.
Frollo also provide the best villain song in entire Disney Canon. Gaston is a hero so his musical is actually the BEST hero song, not villain song.
And Frollo loves fire. After he died he got reincarnated as Pyro and joined Magneto’s brotherhood just like you see in the image above.

3.Chernabog

Image

He’s the goddamn <strike>BATMAN</strike> GOD. You don’t fuck with this guy. That’s all that need to be said about this guy. A true dick in it’s blackest form. The only thing that sucks is that he fears church bells. But I guess I can’t blame him either. I mean I would also be afraid of that thing called Christianity that the white crackers love to embrace with. Disney company is also filled with Christianity crap despite the fact that it’s now own by Jews. So Chernabog is being truthful in being disgust by those filthy church bells and what is SYzMBoLIZez.

4. Moby Dick

Image

Not really a villain per se as he’s just a badass animal following his instinct(which is eat the shit out of everything), but He so awesome that he deserve a spot. This guy is fear incarnate. Just looking at him makes you shit your pants. I know I would. He’s also a smart fucker as he out tricked (and killed off)Captain Ahab and his his stupid men. Why is this cool? Because he putting the human race in check so they won’t overpopulate like rabbits(see China and India). It would be epic battle that would wipe us all off face of earth if Moby “Monstro” Dick- the human killer got in a fight against Gaston “THE MAN”- the animal killer. Oh and Mody Dick also swallow(no not that swallow, you sicko) that pedo obsess with clocks..

5.<strike>Ghangis Khan</strike> Shan Yu

Image

This guy conquered the entire Mongolia AND the entire fucking China(before it became a product of Karl Marx’s wet dream). That’s badass right there. I mean look at the dude in that picture. He screams “badass” and likely to beat the living shit out of you. Despite what Disney want you to think, Shan Yu didn’t actually die. At last minute he use his awesome ninja skills to escape from being engulf by the fire rocket explosion(not done by Micheal Bay). What you think how the GODDAMN BATMAN learn his escape moves from? From goddamn Shan Yu, that’s who. Because he didn’t die and fooled entire China, he waits till time was ripe and then conquer China like history told us.

Yeah, I wish I could come up with hilarious shit like that! rotfl

Looking forward to his next replies!

I wasn't here yesterday, so I missed the villains-list, but I'll do them anyway:

Best serious villains:

1. Frollo: perhaps Disney's most realistic villain. He's not evil for the sake of just being evil (as many other Disney villains). He truly believes what he does is just. That makes him so dangerous: he has accepted his take on the world as the only acceptable one. Throw in a little religious zealousy and supresses sexuality, and you have a ticking timebomb. And when he finally explodes... he does it big-time!

2. Scar: the only element in The Lion King that I really like, the villain. The design could've been better had it been a bit more original (Deja modelled him to much after Jafar), but his sarcastic nature and, most of all, voicework by Jeremy Irons make him unforgettable. Has one of the best villain songs, too, in 'Be prepared'.

3. Dr. Facilier: if only for his great song and his awesome voicework by Keith David! I think his animation was the best in the movie (which I don't care for much), giving him a rich personality.

4. Ursula: theatrical, cynical, seductive... and that design! Incredible! Like Pat Caroll's voicework: amazing! Has some of the best lines of all Disney villains. "Life's full of tough choices... i'n it?" or "No more talking, no more singing... zip!", but my favorite is: "You have your looks, your pretty face! And don't underestimate the importance of body language! Ha!"

5. Lady Tremaine: for the reasons listed by BwayJ.

Best funny villains:

1. Prince John & Sir Hiss: hilarious duo! They have given me the biggest laughs I've ever had with a Disney-movie. I especially think of the Dutch dub, here. Not to take anything away from Peter Ustinov and Terry-Thomas, but the Dutch actors really make these characters come to life to me. I like how John, who's supposed to be such a powerful and influential person, is really childish and a mommy's boy, and how Hiss is always right, but keeps getting punished for it.

2. Mad Madam Mim: her song and the sorcery-duel, what else needs to be said? She's the highlight of the mediocre movie.

3. Madam Medusa: let's see. She's completely crazy, she drives like a madman, she shoots with guns at mice (even hitting Snoops) and she has two giant alligators for pets (whom, at the end, she uses for waterskis). Enough to make spot no. 3. Especially memorable for her eyelash-plucking scene, when she says to poor little Penny: "what makes you think anyone would want a homely little girl like you?"

4. Queen of Hearts: "off with their heads!" Simply brilliant. She's only in the film for a brief time, but she leaves the most lasting impression. I like how she's totally unreasonable and absurd.

5. Cruella de Vil: Medusa's 'big sister'.

Thanks for positive comments to my posts. I usually do this cause it's kinda fun and different rather than usual boring list. As to how I come up with this stuff. Usually I make allusion and connections to something else I like.

Since I have long range of interests spanning from video games, to anime/manga to regular entertainment to historical history, I usually able put connection together and form jokes out of it. Like the one I did with Frollo's image. In HoND commentary, they point out Frollo's obsession with fire, so first thing came to my mind is a pyromaniac and which one is most famous? Pyro from X-Men. I love X-Men. Same deal I did with that video i posted for the coachman.

I'll try do sidekicks tonight if I have time.

I debated whether he went into serious or comic. He's marvelous when he's serious. But he has quite a few funny facial expressions (the winner being the one he makes after he tells his friends he needs their help getting Naveen back and they glare at him) and that's why I placed him in comic.

Best Animal Sidekicks:

1. Timon and Pumbaa- I don't care what everyone else says, I love them. I think they're hilarious. Plus, how can someone not like Hakuna Matata? It's like the catchiest song on the planet.

2. Maximus- Just plain awesome.

3. Pascal- I thought I wouldn't like him, but he's SUPER cute, and I love how well he goes with Rapunzel.

4. Pegasus- Again, cute, adorable, and awesome. Just not as comic as Maximus.

5. Mushu- I find him pretty funny, but I will admit his voice seems really out of place considering the setting of the film.

I can't think of any humans right now, maybe tomorrow.
