Same here! Now that it looks like that coupon will only be good towards the 3D combo, it looks like I'll be getting that.

BTW, magicalwands I love your avatar, for obvious reasons.

I really wanted the 3D Combo, but it's not available in Holland so i decided to go with the 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray and buy the DVD seperately.
(3D for in the future and because i like this cover better)
Image

I received the 3D Blu-ray yesterday and i'm really disappointed with the extra material!
Image and sound is amazing, but i just don't understand why they didn't add more material! :?
The extended songs are nice, deleted scenes..hmm..ok, but the making of is complete crap...sorry!
Oh and i wish they had used version 1 of the book opening in the actual movie!
It´s great and more classic in my opnion ;)

I don't regret buying the movie, don't get me wrong, but €37 for 'all' this??
(Ok...it's a 3D Blu-ray disc...i know!)

Printed my coupon, but I'm still not sure if I am going to get the 3D combo pack yet. I'm going for the cheapest price, so we'll see!

I'm going to try to use the coupon on the standard Blu-ray combo pack. It worked with Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" and I still haven't seen anything to convince me that 3-D will make my collection somehow "future proof."

I wasn't sure until I saw the prices. With the coupon the 3D combo is $19.99 at Target (If you have the Easter sale book that was mailed out there is also another $5 off Disney coupon that would bring the cost down to $14.99). That's the cheapest I've seen the 3D combo. Best Buy lists it for $29.99 before coupon.

However both stores have the standard Blu-ray combo for $19.99. For the same price, even though I don't have 3D I might as well get the 3D combo. Unless I can use the coupon on the normal combo pack.

I still haven't received a Target sale book in the mail, and it looks like I probably won't. However, someone over at Blu-ray.com said a manager told them the Target $5 coupon would become available on the site this weekend, so we'll see.

It'd be great to get the 3D combo pack for $14.99! Does anyone know what the prices will be for both the 3D and 2D combo packs at Toys R Us?

Hopefully the coupon is posted to the Target site. I didn't get the sale book either.

The coupon is up now, and is good for the 4 disc Blu-ray combo pack:

My understanding re: the five dollar Target coupon that's appearing on Target's site is that it's just a link to the standard Disney Movie Rewards coupon and not an additional one.

That is most likely the case for the Tangled coupon Target is advertising, but there is also a $5 coupon off any Disney Blu-ray that several people at Blu-ray.com have reported receiving in the mail as part of an Easter savings booklet.

I am not sure if the mailing is limited to a certain part of a country or what, but I haven't gotten anything. :(

Yeah, the booklet is its own thing. I dunno how they decided who got what, but I never got one and I work for the damned company.

Though apparently, if you can get a scan of the coupon and print it... it worked for someone else. JUST SAYIN'.

The Target coupon books don't go out to everyone and unfortunately there is no way to get on the mailing list. I used to receive them where I used to live but once I moved I stopped getting them. I'm hoping they will eventually be available as a printable on the target website.

So has anyone decided which combo pack they'll be getting: 2D or 3D?

I think I might end up getting the 2D combo pack; the Best Buy price is $19.99, which will make it $14.99 after coupon. I'm going for the cheapest option, and for me, it's not worth the extra money for the 3D disc I'll more than likely never use or the digital copy.

I'm getting the set with the 3D disc, but that's only because someone else had pre-ordered it on Amazon for me. Otherwise I probably would've gotten the regular Blu and DVD release. Although I don't have a 3D TV, I am kind of excited because I like it's cover-art more lol.

I love how at the end, Luke sort of goes on an anti-blu-ray mini-rant.

I'd actually be very surprised if he wrote the review without collaboration.

Either way, nice read! A couple of things I dont quite agree on-like a lack of pointing out how complex the relationship between Gothel and Rapunzel really is-but a good review overall.

I was glad to see he liked the movie. I really think that it was the most 'Disney' Disney movie in years.

How? The coupon specifically states $5 off the 3D combo pack only?

I'd be surprised if Best Buy allowed it.
