Has Disney stated when the UK release date is? On Amazon it simply says Coming Soon, I'm guessing it will be around May time?

DVDAF has it listed for May 23.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, as I am sure I am not the first to find out, but I checked and found out that tangledcoupon.com is registered to Disney, so it looks like we're getting a coupon, if there way any doubt to begin wtih...

There's nothing at the address yet, but Disney has registered the name.

Will it work for the BD+DVD pack, or the BD 3D one?

I'd assume the coupon will be for the 3-D pack as they always tend to be for the most expensive one available (i.e. the one for "Toy Story 3" was for the combo pack, not the two-disc Blu-ray).

I would also never say that most stores would still accept the coupon for the two-disc Blu-ray regardless, which is not something I did for the Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland" one-disc Blu-ray.

Yeah, everyone is saying they think the coupon is going to be for the 3D version, but I will definitely try it on the standard combo. Worst case scenario is that I'll get the 3D version, even though I have no plans to go 3D anytime soon, if ever! I just upgraded to Blu-ray this year, so I've got a while to go...

AAARRGGHHH. Curse everything. Here's hoping we'll see a BD sized one as well somewhere in the world. Why would they do that?!?

Love the Steelbook, other than it being DVD sized.

Haha I am the opposite, I like everything DVD sized. My Blu-rays look like misfits alongside all my DVDs.

Then you need to buy more of them, and separate them :D.

Working on it! I have a few Blu-ray/DVD combo packs that are Blu-ray sized boxes, to ease me into it. My Disney collection that falls into the latter category is very small though, since they also make DVD-sized combo packs.

I have it already, the movie looks A-Freaking-MA-ZING in HD!! The forest! the kingdom! OMG the lanterns!!!

But the bonus features.... oh my, these are the crappiest bonus features for a Disney Bluray, ever!

I'm just going to say that the so called "making of" gets to really sad levels when Mandy and Zack play to guess which Disney character the hair on screen belongs to, Snow White or Tarzan

They don't talk to much about the movie, other than arguing if Pascal is really a frog or a chameleon while Zack actually walks 20 feet to measure Rapunzel's hair length.

The extended songs, well, there's a little good surprise here, while "mother knows best" extended edition is indeed the longer version we hear on the soundtrack, the extened version of "When will my life begin" does NOT feature reprise one as we might think, it is actually a new, never heard before introduction for the main song, it would go instead of the Rapunzel and Pascal hide and seek game scene, lovely, but really short.

The other deleted scenes are actually pretty boring, one can easily understand why they got deleted, your finger next to the skip button really itches while you're watching this.

The only deleted scene I actually found interesting was the "open book prologue" but not the one we saw on youtube, the other one, I actually think the movie would have been beautifully improved with this prologue instead of the Flynn's narration we had.

aaaand, that's it. Where are the galleries you may ask? the concept art? the audio commentaries? some 'Picture-in-Picture' stuff? character design featurettes? how about an actual featurette about the hair? or about Flynn? Rapunzel Unbraided? Rapunzel as a squirrel? the Dog? Bear Flynn? Glen's darker version? Walt's version? naaah why would we want that?

perhaps (just perhaps) on the 2018 edition.

TRIVIA: You can hear the birds from Sleeping Beauty in the main menu!! Beautiful main menu btw :)
