Wanted!- Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box Set

Post by WOLFie »

As title says even though I am sure few will give it up. I am willing to pay if reasonable but I also have many DVD's and games to trade with funds if needed. E-bay is scarey.

Anyone know where I may be able to get a legit R1 copy?

Well It's kinda hard to find these anymore been 2+ so years OOP. I would look at yahoo shopping, best buy.com, circuit city.com, walmart.com, amazon.com, playcentric.com, mediaplay.com, wherehousemusic.com, fye.com, barnes&nobles.com, borders.com, and so forth I'm sure someone might still have one in stock.

Thanks MickeyMouseboy. I tried all those spots you posted and countless others before but no joy. I think will just give up my quest for them. Its a shame because I really liked them but oh frigging well, everywhere in the damn world and e-bay has them and I cant find one reasonable in the USA where they originated.

If you have the legit Fantasia Anthology 3-disc set in excellent condition, I'm sure that karlsen is willing to trade his Ultimate Toy Box set for it. See:

Not that karlsen and I are friends mind you, but it did seem worth mentioning. :)

I buy alot of games there but amount bootleg and funny wordings like "printed in region one territory but has different cover" is pretty scary especially that some pay into the hundreds for these DVDs.

And thanks a bunch The Lizard King, I am looking into that now. :)

Legit Ultimate Toy Boxes are out there - Keep Looking

Post by Baloo55 »

This is a message primarily for Wolfie. Do not give up your search for Ultimate Toy Box. After the trade with Karlsen fell through, I started searching and looking a bit harder for the set. I just bought and received a legit pristine copy from half.com. The set even has the retail security tags, perfect shape used dvds and all inserts including advertising for the Disney Video Club and Disney Magic Movie Rewards Points from 2000. Just wanted to leave you a message to tell you to keep looking and that not everyone is looking to get $100 for this set. I paid $47 with shipping. Keep checking half, ebay and amazon for a good copy, ask a lot of questions, learn what to look out for and never settle for a bootleg. A lot of these copies were sold to regular people, not collectors and after a while they will sell their copy for a reasonable price. I even saw two copies in a local Circuit City about 6-8 months ago. They ARE out there.

Good luck in your search

Baloo55, I was about to give up but then found one listed on e-bay that no one seemed to be bidding on because the seller did not provide much info. Well I e-mailed the seller and asked alot of questions and she confirmed it was not a bootlegg and was bought at K-Mart and in brand new condition so I kept my eye on it and won it. I am a grown man but this is one of my favorite movies which I can just watch over and over, it just reminds me of my childhood and being a kid.

I got it for $65 brand new conditon shipped, with everything includeing old coupons. Very happy because it was my most sort after DVD. :D

Hey Dude I am a teenager and I still love watching the Animated and the Live Action films who cares if you are a grown man that doesn't mean you should stop loving these good old Disney Flicks.

I also just got "the box" from ebay for $66 shipped. The guys had a very vrappy description with no pics, but I asked lots of questions and he said that its the real thing. I really hope I don't get any surprises in the mail.

I don't even trust the stuff that people sell on Amazon. One guy on there had put up enough good products to have a good rating, then started ripping people off and not sending the product. I almost lost about $60 when I tried to buy The Ultimate Toy Box from him, but I managed to get the money back. A few days later, all his auctions disappeared from the lists...

I'm still trying to find the Ultimate Toy Box SOMEWHERE. :|

It's not new/sealed but it's in excellent/near-mint condition and I'll guarantee it's 100% authentic Disney from the USA. If you're serious, I can send you some photos & do a thorough inspection. My email address is pemorris@insightbb.com
