Yeah, I do totally get that. I tend to draw girls on the curvier side but they'd be outright fat by Disney standards.

I also think it's partially laziness. I mean, at Disney's, they already have a standard 'model' for leading ladies (thin, small breasts, huge eyes), so why invent a new type of girl? Just change the hair color and voilà! There's the next Disney girl! A bit more variety would be welcome. Pocahontas and Tiana aren't petite, though they are (much) older than most Disney princesses.

Oh, forgot to mention that the movie is showing at my school this weekend along side Harry Potter. It's free, so why not? It's better than off getting drunk somewhere.

I thought Mandy sounded okay.. just shaky. Which is strange because she's been singing so long. I think she was nervous more than anything. He was definitely more consistent than her.

Seriously?? If Randy Newman is so good, then why didn't he win last year with Princess and the Frog? I think the film title won that award, not the song. I'm not saying it because I'm bitter (I can admit that). The one by Gwyneth Paltrow was pretty cool! I was thinking that might even win.
