Toy Story Toons

Post by Kyle »

http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-new ... treatment/

Looks like its safe to assume these are a new set of Toy Story shorts in the vein of Toy Story treats and Car-toons.

Cant wait to see how they turn out.
but be prepaired, we'll probably have to deal with sound alikes for many characters.

a series of shorts that ran on Disney's One Saturday Morning. I have a bunch of them on my youtube channel, heres a couple of them.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wpRH7k61QCg&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wpRH7k61QCg&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y7s8NNliFKk&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y7s8NNliFKk&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
and theres more that I dont have on Toystory3.com in the video section. They were also included in the Toy Story dvds.

So yeah, expect to see more of this type of thing, but probably longer.
Also, those who saw the 3d double feature have already seen what I believe were some of the new ones, which featured Bullseye and Jesse.

Tom tweets that he's back for Toy Story shorts. as in plural. Image

If Tom is recording for multiple toy story shorts, excellent. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check though. Somehow I don't see them using Hanks for ALL of them. at some point I would expect them to get Jim to fill in, as Tom is a busy guy. Unless they had everything recorded in that single session, but that's doubtful.

Still, very cool. Plus, Jim isn't that bad. I think it is safe to say Pixar is not done with Toy Story yet.

That's awesome! I just hope that they're not as mediocre as Cars Toons (which to my knowledge are always Mater's Tall Tales?).

Yep. I dont think MTTs are mediocre, but they're incredibly formulaic. It's more entertainment value than a lot of things on TV though.

I love their outfits! Especially Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Slinky. It's adorable! Why don't Bullseye, Rex, Dolly, Mr. Potato Head, Hamm, and Trixie have outfits? Buttercup and Mr. Pricklepants have them...

Super excited!

the shorts should also show what happened to other andy toys like the awesome RC racer, Bo Peep, etc.

"Click click!"

That was absolutely adorable, this short will probably be the one good thing that will come out of "Cars 2".
