Personal attacks not aimed at Billy Ray or Miley have no place in this thread. You all know who I'm talking to.

Don't get me started on the alien who spoke in farts.

Also, Gurgi is sorely missing from your number 1 spot, Disney's Divinity.

 I had completey forgotten about him. Must have blocked it out. :P But seriously what was Disney thinking with that?

It would probably have been made into a movie whether for big screens or small. Just look at Wizards of Waverly Place. That was made into a movie, too!
True, but they could at least made a HM movie that wasn't that hypocritical and at least had some connection to the show. It would have made more sense if the film was made after the series were over.

I mean, sure, if the Cyruses were a "normal" family and Miley wasn't catapulted into fame, then maybe many of their problems wouldn't have happened, but you can't blame Disney...it's not like Disney told Miley to do all of these scandalous things, or like Disney forced Billy Ray and Tish apart. It was a part of it, but Disney itself can't be to blame.
Yeah, a commenter on the article in the link said "Disney ruins lives. They are satanists" got a pretty decent reply back from me which neglected other current Disney stars.
OMG
Disney's Divinity wrote:Yes. Easily the worst sidekick ever. Don't know who thought Martin Short would be a good idea. Which is too bad, because Treasure Planet is a decent movie, imo.

1. BEN
2. Gargoyles
3. Terk
4. Pleakley
5. Timon & Pumbaa
Personally, I believe the Louis-hate is way over dramatized (probably moreso because of DisneyJedi). He’s not in the movie that much, and there are much worse characters out there.
:o

I'm not mad, but why are Timon and Pumbaa on there. They're one of the famous Disney sidekicks. Also, I don't know why people are hating on as Ray called him, "little Louis". Yes, Louis is far from the best sidekick, since he pretty much did nothing to help the main characters except helping them get to Mama Oodie and back. But, he was a good sidekick...and he did gave me one of my fave Disney songs :)

Don't forget he also did partly play Cupid (during the Ma Belle Evangeline scene) AND helped to 'persuade' the Fenner Bros. to give Tiana her restaurant by giving them a good scare.

But.... yeah. So can we now drop it?

THAT was the worst song in the film!
No, that was the only good song. The rest of the songs were purely crap and Miley's voice was raping my ears.
retarded movies with hypocritical messages?
That pretty sums up Hannah Montana The Movie; A retarded movie! The humor was pretty much retarded slapstick humor and besides that, there was no real humor involved. The script lacked any originality, with several plotholes and was so unrealitic that made me cringe. The message was the most hypocritical I've ever seen; The film tries to convey the message of being true to your roots and loving the simple life instead of the city life, but we know what happened in the end.

The fact that people even consider that movie as a feel-good movie makes me geniunly depressed.
Just because the film ended the way it did doesn't mean she didn't walk away appreciating the simple life more than she did when she arrived. She showed over the course of the film how much she values and has an appreciation for the simple life. Did the film have to be 100% realistic though? Did the film have to be 100% original?

If one feels good at the conclusion of the film with the positive music what's so bad about that? I love the song "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home" and it made me feel good and I felt it summed up the message of the film. What's wrong with people feeling this about the film?

Yes, I find Hannah Montana hatred to be overdone and overrated. :D
You really think Kim Possible is a worse show than Hannah Montana?

I mean, I always found KP a little overrated, but there's no fucking comparison.
A little overrated? That's an understatement.

But yes I think Hannah Montana was way better.

All better than Hannah Montana. At least the later episodes.
The later episodes of which? All of them?

I had more patience with Hannah Montana than those three combined. Even Stevens used to be on my crap list thanks to a couple characters that I found very annoying (Louis and Beans) but I've been able to tolerate them more now than when it was on.

I would like to add Life With Derek to my list. I started out liking it but then the characters got increasingly more annoying. (Particularly Derek, Casey and Marti)

Hannah Montana is pure cheese. It's okay if you enjoy it, but let's not kid ourselves here. Pure cheese-fest. Miley Cyrus is one of the worst actors to ever grace the Disney Channel, along with 2/3rds of the Jonas brothers and Vanessa Hudgens. She has a grating voice, and there's only so many "y'alls", "liek", and "OMGz" I can bare to listen to until my brain starts to go numb. Same thing goes for practically all the Disney live-action shows (minus the y'alls), a few exceptions here and there.

Kim Possible is, in my opinion of course, one of the best things on the Disney Channel this decade. It has good humour, likable characters, great villains, and really good animation. The last season was a little 'meh', but all in all I think it's a really enjoyable show. I'm not even sure if it's overrated at all, since many seem to dislike it, but even if it is, it deserves to be so if you ask me. Another good animated Disney show from this decade is Fillmore!. Of course there have also been plenty of bad cartoons from Disney in recent years: The Buzz on Maggie- Brandy & Mr. Whiskers- Dave the Barbarian, and so forth.

WARNING: Opinion alert! Opinion alert! Do not get offended at post. All of it is my opinion, a very common opinion that many seem to share, but still an opinion. End transmission.

Oh, I meant the later episodes of Hannah Montana. The first episodes were better, but then they just kept getting crappier and crappier.

I could be wrong, but I think as the last season went on further and further, the episodes became a little more dramatic/serious.

I forgot most of those shows. I personally enjoyed Kim Possible, Lizzie McGuire, and Phineas and Ferb.

@ Duckburger:  My thoughts exactly (literally word for word into the tiniest details) about both HM and KP, and about the other miserable shows you mentioned! And lol @ your 'disclaimer'!

Ah, well I haven't seen any of the last season's episode. (My sister used to like Hannah Montana, and didn't like it anymore by the time the last season came along.)

The last season, in my opinion, is the best. Much less Oliver (the second most annoying character), high definition, and catchy songs. I think you should give it a watch; it's actually pretty good.

I really don't think that I can bring myself to do it. I don't find the show amusing at all, and I can't stand Miley.

I will admit that she is pretty annoying, but only the later episodes are centered around her. You can at least watch the finale, "Wherever I Go" and the episode "Love That Lets Go"; those are my favorites.

Whoa, whoa, whoa; Do you actually thought Oliver was the second most annoying character?? I happen to disagree. I think he was an awesome character (at least when he wasn't a douche as in the third season); Funny, goofy and charismatic. What's not to like?

With the exception of the highly annoying Sienna, I must say that the fourth season is better than I expected. It's not as good as the first seasons, but its way, way better than the horrid third season.
