That's the exact image that the original comparison used. The one MK posted is a few frames after when their faces touch. Just in case anyone's wondering.

Yeah, I used a later frame to prove that their faces touched because that was one of the specific details. xD

Which VHS is this? I have the Masterpiece one that was released at the same time as the laserdisc and I'm 99% certain it's pan and scan.
Lady & The Tramp was released in widescreen VHS format in 1998. (Sleeping Beauty in 1997). Both are available from Amazon.

I think the finger stuff is best bet to know if VHS print is an truth Academy Ratio or Pan and Scan with that said I don't find my VHS of the film. At least here is pan scan verison of the film. Go to 8:31 and you see no finger there.
