The DVD interviews say it look a year I believe, since it was done in such a small studio.Kyle wrote: I believe the animation for the first Enchanted was done in a total of 6 weeks.
Disenchanted
Its really been bugging me, not just because I want to be right, but because I know I read on an animators, either a blog or interview about how they had completed the animation in a shockingly short amount of time, but I can't find it for the life of me. I thought it was somewhere here.

Probably nothing really new, but....
It's kind of almost five months old, but I found it here: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=75545Marsden: I don't know. I think that the clock is ticking on that one. Amy [Adams] are both saying, "If there's going to be a sequel, we're not getting any younger." Since we play sort of ageless animated characters. Hopefully we do. That was something really special and I'd love to come back and do another. I've heard the same things you've heard. There's a script out there somewhere and there's talk of it, but I never believe it until I see the script and know that we're actually making that film. So I don't know. Too many eggs in that basket.
I just watched Enchanted last night, since I've been working on my Prince Edward costume...
I would love for this sequel to happen ASAP. I don't think the they have to worry much about their age, especially if a large portion of film would be animated... WE'RE HOPING! I think "the clock is ticking" more on the films impact. Disney has done absolutely nothing to keep this film alive in the minds of the public.

Disney should make this film. Instead of crap like "DISNEY Prom", "Mars Needs Moms", all those movies with talking puppies, etc, etc.
Favorite Disney-movies: Snow White, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates, Enchanted, Prince of Persia, Tron, Oz The Great and Powerful

I don't think I'd like it with Amy now.... she looks so much older in the muppets poster... I would like to see the film (if it happened) star Nancy and Prince Edward and the world of Anderlasia (sorry for the spelling
)

Re: Enchanted II (2011)
The sequel is back on track!
Source: http://www.deadline.com/2014/07/enchant ... s-writers/EXCLUSIVE: Seven years after Disney‘s live-action princess adventure Enchanted scored Golden Globe and Oscar noms and a $340M worldwide box office, the Mouse House is moving again on a sequel. Shrek 2 and The Smurfs writers J. David Stem and David N. Weiss have been hired to write Enchanted 2, marking the scripting duo’s latest live-action family outing after penning Are We There Yet? and Daddy Day Camp for Sony.
Amy Adams starred and sang in the first pic in an eerily accurate portrayal of Giselle, the animated Disney princess who crosses over into the real world, opposite Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel, Rachel Covey, and Susan Sarandon. Kevin Lima directed the musical romance, which opened at No. 1 over Thanksgiving weekend 2007.
Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, The Guilt Trip) is at the helm of the sequel, which will be produced again by Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld. An earlier draft was written by Jessie Nelson. No word yet on which cast members are expected back for more happily ever after. Weiss and Stem are repped by WME and Christine Cuddy of Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo.

Interesting. Makes me wonder if Disney's going to have those hand-drawn segments again or avoid them completely like they avoid wanting anything else to do with making hand-drawn animation.Sotiris wrote:Source: http://www.deadline.com/2014/07/enchant ... s-writers/EXCLUSIVE: Seven years after Disney‘s live-action princess adventure Enchanted scored Golden Globe and Oscar noms and a $340M worldwide box office, the Mouse House is moving again on a sequel. Maybe they'll make them be CGI this time. Wouldn't that be a surprise.

I'd like to see that too, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much. Today's Disney doesn't care about 2D animation.magired1 wrote:OMG! PLEASE be 2d! PLEASE BE 2D! I wanna see Giselle's world! Re: Enchanted 2 Discussion
There's no doubt that it will include 2D animation.
What I wish is that Amy Adams and Idina Menzel return... (And Idina should get a song this time!)

I thought "Let it Go" was kind of a compensation for her not singing in the first movie.bruno_wbt wrote:There's no doubt that it will include 2D animation.
