Tomorrowland out of stock at.......

Post by DisneyQuack »

I just checked amazon.com and they are out of stock of Tomorrowland!!! Maybe I should pick up a few more where I live, that surprised me that this would go out of stock there as fast as it did. I know it has the lowest print run but I thought it would be the least popular as well. Oh well, just thought I would drop a line to tell, unless someone else did and I missed it......remember, apparently I need my eyes checked

Amazon and Costco are out of Treasure of Tomorrowland.

Wow - what was that, like 2 weeks?? I thought any one of the others would be out of stock before this one.

I haven't seen a copy anywhere in weeks, and now Amazon is gone too, so it's more or less sold out nationwide (with some obvious exceptions). The eBay market should go up for this one in a few weeks.

Donald should be the next to go out of stock, within a week or two, I'd guess.

 At our Sam's Club, there seems to be too much of Tomorrowland Treasures. First we had to wander the electroncis to find them in the first place. They were placed in the camera and film section! We had to dig in the back to find a copy of the Chronological Donald! There were hardly any MMILC2! The most in stock were On the Front Lines and Tomorrowland. They also have large supplies of old DVDs like the Apple Dumpling Gang (the series version before the current release), The Black Cauldron, 102 Dalmations and lots of others. I was thoroughly surprised to see that you all can't find any copies. So if you have a Sam's Club nearby, I suggest you check there. Maybe I should hoard some and sell it on ebay! hehe...

A the Disney store which I work at, we sold out of Donald and Tommorowland within the first week. Mickey sold out a few days later. We now have about 35 copies of On the front lines left.

Interestingly, our Disney Store is usually the last to sell out of the Treasures sets.

Well, maybe the reason that we sold out so fast is because we are one of two stores within 3 hours drive. We used to have two other stores within a 45 minutes drive but both of those stores were closed. People drive from other states just to visit our store because there are no others around. That is why we are one of the best selling stores in the south.

The local Walmart had tons of each on release day. Now Donald Duck is sold out, and there might have been about 5-10 of each of the others. I was really surprised to see that low number and to see one completely gone since I'm in a relatively small town.

There's tons of copies of all 4 at my local A&B Sound and Future Shop, not to mention Superstore. Funny how the Disney store is out! I'm sure they'll get more. I'm not much of an online shopper... I like to have it in my hands before I take out the cash. 8)

Are the Disney Stores across the US still closing? As far as I know, all the Disney Stores at all the malls I usually go to are still open.

It is no big suprice that Disney are one of the first to get these out of stock since the small stores probably did order more then they needed. Soon Disney will get returns from stores that don't want all that extra stock and then they will send it out to those that has none.

This happened with the first Mickey Mouse tin as well.

I am not surprised. I thought it would be this way because of the low print run, and it is a very interesting set. Word of mouth spreads and those who might not have bought it panic to get one before it sells out. Im glad I have 2 copies though. But I bought it at my Walmart on opening day and that store has about 7-8 of each(and many more of On the Front Lines). I guess there just arent enough Disney fans in my city though. My bestbuy has no tomorrowland or donald though, and bestbuy.com also appears to be out of both of those.

I really think it depends on where you live.
My local Best Buy and Wal-Mart has all four but Costco ran out of all four in only 2 weeks.
