Huh. I always thought it looked pretty cool, not quite sure why.
I think it's because this one's stylized and fits in with the image more. The other blus use the same one over and over. yeah, it was kinda distracting.

It'd be cool if we get some kind of coupon for these, but I don't think it's going to happen. Therefore, I probably won't be getting these on release day unless there are some good sale prices; I'll just wait until they come down a bit.
I'll be keeping my eyes on these as well; I only have the DVD versions and would love to upgrade to combo packs. :)

With the new combo packs, I wonder if new bonus features will be added to Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, & Dinosaur?

They'll just be the existing discs repackaged together. None of the previous Blu-Ray+DVD re-releases have had new content, so I doubt any forthcoming ones will either. Which is fine by me, as I can sell my DVD-only versions knowing that it will be the exact same disc in the combo pack...unlike with Warner Bros. or Lionsgate, who have movie-only versions in their combo packs.

For the record: I ordered Dinosaur, Chicken Little, and Meet the Robinsons from Amazon and they arrived today and none of them had slipcovers.

Well I'm sure the titles that get re-released in 3D will have the slips with lenticular art.

With re-releases of Dinosaur, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, and The Princess and the Frog out today, that leaves only 4 more announced Blu-ray releases from the DAC canon for this year. :(

We've got...
Dumbo
Bambi (3/1)
The Lion King (Fall)
Tangled (3/29)

I think it's speculated we'll get Winnie the Pooh this year (and possibly The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), but other than that, no official confirmation on anything else. Let's hope they surprise us with a title or two during the remainder of the year!

Anybody find these new releases in any stores besides Amazon? I checked my local Best Buy and Target with no luck. Could Amazon just have copies with no slipcovers or do they all come without slipcovers? If so, that really annoys me. I have all the released Blu Ray DACs and Pixar movies except Dinosaur, Chicken Little, and Meet the Robinsons. I'd like them all uniform with slipcovers.

Although I am interested in the Enchanted and Meet the Robinsons re-releases, I am not buying them this week and didn't check the stores. However, I am kind of not surprised that some stores wouldn't have them. Seeing as this isn't a brand new release, I wouldn't be surpised if retailers are waiting until they are out stock of the current BD only editions before replacing them with the combo packs. I know the Target near me still had a bunch of the standard BD copies of these films the last time I was there!

I imagine if the original BluRay-only copies of these films were released without slipcovers, Disney is probably not gonna waste the expense to make them now for the repackaged combo packs. :x
