Just spotted this on the Australian Disney Movie Rewards Eligible Titles list...

^Thanks for the heads up!

I hope they release a double pack with the US cover which I prefer.

However the double/triple pack covers are usually horrendous :(

Oh yeah! Bambi 2 on blu-ray! I was also wondering what happened to The Black Cauldron, but glad to see that's planned as well :)

If anyone is interested, Big W is selling Cars Toons, Maters Tall Tales exclusively to them, if it hasn't been mentioned already... :)

Only the DVD edition is available though, judging by BIG W's online store.

Still no word on "Alice"... I swear, if the American edition is region-free, I'll be severely tempted to jump the gun in this case....

Classification.gov.au has passed a re-issued Alice in Wonderland for DVD, and I doubt they would re-issue the 2010 version so soon... So hopefully we'll hear some news regarding it

Turns out we ARE receiving a Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 two-movie pack! According to JBHIFI its exclusive to them. Still, no reason to price it as expensive as they did...

I've searched literally everywhere. The cheapest we're gonna get both Fantasia + Fantasia 2000 seperately is $39.99 each. So thats $80 for both movies! JB's going combo pack for $55 - which is the exact same just packaged together for $25 cheaper. If you're going to purchase just the DVD's it's still cheaper to get the combo pack...

I went for the combo pack - It's just bloody ridiculous the prices for these movies!

Actually BigW offers the Blu-Ray version of Fantasia 2000 for $28.82. I expect the Blu-Ray version of Fantasia 2000 is the same price, but I couldn't locate the Blu-Ray version in local store.

If you are after cheapest price for both movies, importing the UK version of the double pack from Amazon (UK) is still best option, at just under $30 AUD.

Hi, i'm back.

Look, Fantasia has been out in the UK/US on BluRay UNLOCKED since
November 2010.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fantasia-2000-B ... 666&sr=8-4

for 18 Pound, thats $28AUD at the moment. shipping is 6 pound.
so it is 34 pound total, which is $55 AUD dollars.
Delivered to your house within 10 days.
You could have had it, like I did, ready for Christmas presents.
So why are you whinging?

Oh, from the US
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz
still under $50, you'll have it 10 days, again, you could have had it before
Christmas.

You're not a Disney Fan if you don't own them the minute they are out in whatever country. Blurays for the UK are our region. there's no excuse.
the only country that is behind and more expensive is Japan.
which is out in April and $55 for just Fantasia alone.

I've already had my Bambi Diamond Bluray delivered from the UK.
I'll have it next Wednesday.
My Alice Bluray has already arrived from the US.
It isn't locked.

if you're whining on Forums you obviously have a computer,
learn to shop online, even Toby could do it.

I prefer to get local versions: one for consistency and two for DMR points. But I did get LatT PE for $50 dollars once

DMR points are the main reason I buy locally, although DMR never seem to offering anything interesting (i.e. exclusives) in terms of Blu-Ray and DVDs.

I wonder whether the upcoming Blu-Ray editions of Pixar movies will be consistent though, since the recent re-releases used a different style (New Look).

I love how you're whining about my whining.

I shop locally, mainly because I'm usually at work or Uni when these films are re-released, then go straight to the shops to get it. It's just more fun anticipating and it gives me something to look forward to after work/uni - And I like to know who i'm giving my money to... It also serves for consistency and DMR points :) So it's handy!

And who are you to state what a Disney fan is - seriously buddy?
