Seems to be the case with even the best animated movies. I think they forgot about the painting that originally inspired the film's visual style.

I will post it
It's a special about the 50 Disney Classics, too.
It seems very interesting.
Is it ready yet to post it?

So it seems although Tangled didn't get a nomination for Best Animated Flick, Mandy and Zach will be singing at the Oscars, most likely "I see the light" considering it's up for a nomination. =D Hopefully they'll win ^_^

Can't wait for it!

And as I understand, even farther back than the Grimms Brothers in the first versions of Rapunzel she had raven black hair, not the "golden" hair we all associate with her these days. So to really get back to the very roots the story would look even farther away from the fairytale most people are familiar with.

Plus "golden" can be interpreted in more than one way. Some suggest it means red tinted hair, not blonde.

Any version of Rapunzel is going to be off from the very first tales told.

I have red hair with a bit of bronze-ish gold in it, my mom always called me Goldilocks. But yeah, most people think 'blonde' when you say golden hair.

Yes, but couldn't they AT LEAST make her eyes slightly smaller (like the size in concept art just posted) and a different dress?

After hovering in the high 80's for the longest time, Tangled finally broke 90% on Rottentomatoes. Yes! Hope it stays there or goes up.

Well I saw Tangled at the thater last night and afterwards we demanded and got a refund! Why? Well we just weren't happy with what we saw.

Hah, not cos of the film though.

For some stupid reason the projectionist had cropped the film to give it a 2.35:1 cinemascope framing.

We were literally baffled, I mean it was blatantly obvious at the start of the film when the Walt Disney Pictures logo came up. The bottom half of the words 'Walt Disney' were cut off. I mean honestly how could anyone make such a ridiculous mistake.

Yikes.

I'm still wondering if we should have demanded our money back for not getting to see the credits. I'm not sure what happened; the "Something That I Want" song played but the screen was black, like they had turned the projector light out as soon as the movie was over. I have a feeling they would have laughed at us for wanting to actually see them.

Yes, please!! :) But could you compress all of the images into one file (either zip or rar) and upload them to a file-hosting website like sendspace.com so we can download it easily? Saving images one by one is very time consuming. Thanks!!!! :D

Btw, "The Art of Tangled" is now OOP.

Does anyone know why it's OOP?

I know how you feel. The second time I saw Toy Story 3 in 3D so much of the screen was cut of that I couldn't read Buzz's subtitles during the Spanish parts. And I think the 3D stopped working halfway through. We were angry and wanted a refund too.
