Which movie do you think will win best picture at the Oscars
Which movie do you think will win best picture at the Oscars?
This poll is for which movie you THINK will win, it's NOT which one you want to win.

It's a toss-up between "Inception" and "The Social Network" and I think the dark horse in all this is "The Fighter". For the first time in many years I have seen all but one of the movies nominated - I haven't seen "Winter's Bone" because it hasn't played around here yet!!
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!

I want Black Swan to win, but imagine The Social Network or The King's Speech will win.
I am happy as long as The Social Network does not win.

Ditto what Renata said. My money's on The Social Network, which is a win I would be very happy about... but I'd be even happier to see Toy Story 3 snag it.
You can see Winter's Bone on Blu-ray now. I highly recommend it!dvdjunkie wrote:It's a toss-up between "Inception" and "The Social Network" and I think the dark horse in all this is "The Fighter". After the PGA awards, I think The King's Speech has a really good shot at winning... but The Social Network also could very likely take it. I don't know, it's a very good year for nominees, I'd be happy to see just about any of these films win (still have to see 127 Hours and Winter's Bone).

My vote goes to The Social Network. Although, to be honest, I don't understand why. Sure, it was good, but I don't see what makes it the "American Landmark" it claims to be. I didn't leave the theater feeling any differently than I did before I walked in, and I believe that a film should do otherwise to be considered Oscar-worthy.

I'm betting against the tide and saying Toy Story 3 should get the Oscar.
It's like what's been said about its Oscar campaign up to now, "If not now, then when?" When will the Oscars give due credit to the most celebrated animation studio of our generation? Why does a mediocre live-action film that will probably be forgotten in a few years have more rights to the top honors than a great animated film that will be remembered decades from now?
Give the top prize to a film that actually deserves it for a change.
