Shutting Down Facebook

I have a vision. A vision of The Walt Disney Company buying Facebook from Mark Zuckerberg. What do you Disney fans think? Should Disney buy Facebook?

This is just as bad as the Patriot Act.

I doubt Disney could afford to buy Facebook, considering it's supposedly worth $41 billion.

I certainly hope not. They really have no concept of competition, do they? I would think they should keep their claws out of it, and stick to owning the other 90% of the world (that's a joke btw) ^^;

Seriously, though. The place is already prone to strange behaviour - imagine if the big MM owned it? Making it extremely family-friendly, not that I have anything against that! ^_~

How is that guy allowed to write articles? He's a horrible writer and it is such an easy subject.

Second, why would anyone believe this nonsensical rumour? It appears every so often and tonnes of people continue to fall for it. Do people ever learn?

Zuckerberg is not so daft as to simply close down $41 billion dollars worth of Internet space and having to deal with all the foreclosures and relocating and payouts etc.

He may be portrayed as a spontaneous idiot in the Social Network but only a retard would make this decision and expect everything to go smoothly. This is his only claim to fame, his only revenue source, sure he may have billions but it will take a lot of money just on severance and all the cash tied to advertising deals and office equipment etc. So an arbitrary day like March 15th is further proof of nothing happening. This isn't even mentioning some fancy lawyer with an account who could possibly sue Zuckerberg's ass off regarding use of private information etc. and once there is precedence the whole world will be trying to get on the bandwagon.

But the media always tries to elicit a response, those whorebags.

Definitely not. Vocabulary restrictions would be so high, you wouldn't even be able to make a status update about watching your favorite Dick Van Dyke DVD. (Or DVD on DVD, as I call it.)

For the same reason Fox 'News' is still on the air and highly succesful: because there are a lot of idiots who believe it.

No way. I really do not understand the love (obsession?) people have for Facebook, and I do not want my favourite company to purchase it.
