In my very honest opinion, Mickey and company shouldn't be doing pre-school programs. Even if they were, it's a little surprising they haven't utilized the Baby Mickey characters seen in merchandise. All the show is doing is keeping Mickey busy as an animated character, since they're not making theatrical shorts for him anymore.
Anyways, from what little I have seen of this show, Donald has been toned just to where his personality isn't completely compromised. But Mickey is the central character, and unlike many of his old cartoons where attention so often shifted to Goofy, Donald, or Pluto, they seem to do a good job remembering who the real star is.

I'm not concerned about who the main character is, I just wish they wouldn't leave Donald out so much.Semaj wrote:IAnyways, from what little I have seen of this show, Donald has been toned just to where his personality isn't completely compromised. I understand what Big Disney Fan is saying. It's like if the dwarfs were split into two groups. Doc leading one and Grumpy leading the other. 95% of the time we're shown what Doc's group is doing because Doc's the unofficial leader of all the dwarfs. I would rather see what Grumpy and his group are doing because I like Grumpy out of all the dwarfs so I'd be disappointed to see little of him.

Well, to an extent, they did show something of the "Baby Mickey" characters on this show. There was one episode where Goofy is accidentally turned into a baby, but even then, it doesn't look exactly like the franchise. That would look something like this:Semaj wrote:In my very honest opinion, Mickey and company shouldn't be doing pre-school programs. On "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", Goofy as a baby looked more like... more like this:
