Cinderella's beautiful chateau and transformation scene are gone. Aurora's neato tree cottage and who knows what fun things could have been in it are gone.
*big sigh*
TOO much Dumbo! And Snow White, did you really need ALL THAT? You couldn't have left SOME room for either Cindy or Rose? Grrrrr!!!!!!
The people at Disney who did this are stuuuuupid! They could have had almost all of it, but they blew it. Yea, let's expand Fantasyland...and only add two expanded versions of two old rides (Dumbo and Snow White) a clone of another park's ride (The Little Mermaid) and one new thing (Beauty and the Beast).
I'm disappointed, too. Snow White is one of my favorite rides in the park, and I'm skeptical that the new "coaster" version will tell the story of the film as good as the current dark ride. Plus, I am extremely disappointed about losing Toontown. Like Wonderland Fever said, we always have to "lose a ride to get a ride" at WDW, despite them having nearly 30,000 acres of land to work with.
With all the land they are using for FL, they could have added SO much more. Disneyland will STILL have 6 additinal attractions in their Fantasyland that are completely missing in the MK (Pinocchio, Toad, Alice, Casey Jr., Storybookland, and Matterhorn) - 7 when you count the Snow White dark ride we are about to lose. Plus all the stuff that Duster mentioned got cut, as well.
I really hate to have to admit this, being a part-time Florida resident who is 40 hours away from Disneyland when in Florida and 30 hours away when in Louisiana.
But Disneyland OWNS the Magic Kingdom BIG TIME.
On just about Every. Possible. Level!
