I have almost all the Disney games for Nintendo and Super Nintendo, and also have some for Game Boy(s), N64, and Gamecube. My favorite Disney game is The Little Mermaid for Nintendo, and tied in second are Aladdin and Lion King for Super Nintendo. I really want Kingdom Hearts, but I am a Nintendo girl.

I am an absolute video game FREAK!

Hopefully someday they will either release it on a Nintendo system (gamecube, gamecube 2, etc.) OR I will be able to find a playstation 2 for dirt cheap when playstation 3 comes out. I've never played the Disney game's for Sega either, or the games for playstation one. I've heard that there is a Little Mermaid 2 game for playstation one, I wonder if that's any good.

I agree, I especially enjoyed the Flying Carpet level, which was fun and annoying when you ran into the floating rocks. However I also thoroughly enjoyed the SNES edition, which I felt was more with the story. The sequences were really cool, and the levels too. Although I wish it were two players, Aladdin and Abu.FilmMkr wrote:imho the Sega Aladdin is much better, so you didn't really miss out
Toy Story was so cool! I love that game and remember it fondly. Yes the Quack Attack game was loads of fun.iamthejo wrote:Well we never had Nintendo, but way back when, I had a Sega Genesis and was addicted to the Aladdin game. We also had Toy Story, and a cool version of Fantasia (why on earth they decided to make a game out of it, I'll never know). I was never very good at video games though, so my older brother had to beat them for me. He finally taught me the cheat code for Aladdin to pass all the levels just so I'd quit bugging him to play for me!
Oh, and there was one that starred Donald Duck as an archeologist... it was called "quack" something. Quack Attack... Quack Shot... Oh, I don't remember, but it was awesome- you made Donald eat peppers to lose his temper.
I really wish we could get a port of the PS game, I want to play it but am a Nintendo loyalist. GB Player seems iffy so that won't work.MickeyMouseboy wrote:If you buy a Gameboy player you can play Kingdom Heart on your GCube!
Remember BATB Belle's Quest & Roar of the Beast (Not Sure on title) for Sega Genesis! I really loved them both. Especially Belle's Quest. It was very easy, the first level my favourite. Her provincial town, I loved solving the quest and interacting with the characters. TLM for Genesis was ok, I did enjoy the underwater aspect. I remember enjoying Echo the Dolphin more though. Genesis also had a magnificent two player game with Mickey and Donald. Something "Magical World"?
I had fun playing Tarzan Untamed for GameCube, it is surprisingly fun. I am curious to try Finding Nemo for GameCube just for the fun of it. I wish they would start making more games with Disney characters besides those sports ones, which are goofy fun. I would more like to see a Mario style platform game, with cinematic sequences and magical Disney adventure.

Yes, I have this game and it is wonderful, another good game is Mickey's Magical Quest (available on SNES and Game Boy Advance). The first world is quite boring, but once you get past it, it's rather good. Mickey slowly gains strength and powers and becomes the Sorcerer's Apprentence as you play. (Game genie codes available.)2099net wrote:Anyone with an interest in Disney Video Games needs to get hold of a copy of Mickey Mania (SNES and Megadrive/Genesis) or it's slight updating Mickey's Wild Adventure for the PSOne (which is, of course, playable on a PS2).
I loved Ducktales (I believe I have Ducktales 2, which is also very good.)
I bought a PS2 JUST so I could play Kingdom Hearts. I only have six PS2 games.Mermaid Kelly wrote: I really want Kingdom Hearts, but I am a Nintendo girl.
Aren't they like 70 bucks? I don't remember how much I paid for mine, but I know they're expensive.MickeyMouseBoy wrote:If you buy a Gameboy player you can play Kingdom Heart on your GCube!
Has anyone tried the Disney DDR? It's awesome!

Well, we've long since gotten rid of our original NES. But when we had it, we had Ducktales and The Little Mermaid that I can remember. Can't remember if we had any other Disney games. I don't think we did. But these two were loads of fun. When I say "we", I mean my sis and I.

Yes, I bought it to play second hand, but it wasn't very good, so I ended up giving it to my little cousin, who loved it.

p.s. My cousin was able to download the whole Yoshi's Island (a really great SNES game, BTW) to his computer. Does anyone know of any reliable sites that have the old NES and SNES Disney games (particularly Mickey Mania) that does this?

Gawd, they're were games of disney on the nintendo systems?? Where have I been??
Personally I've played the Toy Story game for.......what was it? I forgot....maybe it was genesis........man, I was like.......5-6 when I played it. I can't remember.
But I think I liked it alot. I think I've also played a few others, but frankly I can't really remember.
I Heard somewhere that Kingdom Hearts was going to be released to the gamecube.
Sadly, I knew it was just a rumor. If any of you want to see the site I got the info from, I forgot it, so sorry.

Disney's Lilo & Stitch 2 for the Game Boy Advance will be out on September 7.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories for the Game Boy Advance will be out around Christmas of 2004.

You find find some new screenshots of
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories at:
http://media.gameboy.ign.com/media/606/ ... mgs_1.html
The text in the screenshots are in Japanese though.
The screenshots are pretty good for a Game Boy advance.
There is a picture of The Genie from Aladdin and Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
IGN also has some high resolution of Kingdom Hearts II at:
http://media.ps2.ign.com/media/550/550308/imgs_1.html
I like the first one showing Mulan.
The lighting effects in some other screenshots are really cool. Hercules and Megara look like 3D cartoons.
