B&TB Keepsake Box
I got my Beauty & the Beast Keepsake Box today! After like 3 months of waiting. It also arrived with my Christmas present from my boyfriend.

I say it is worth waiting. There is no point in entering all your points in right now. DMR always has great offers other than double points day such as the Blu-Ray Player. A lot of people were angry that they had 5 movies but already entered them in months ago when they first bought the films.Rescue Ranger wrote:Awesome, thanks!!!
Hope everyone is having a great holiday.
I have lots of points to add after Xmas but am holding out for a double points day. Is it even worth waiting for? Or is it not likely to even happen?

Thats what happened to me. Had all 5, but already entered. I learned my lesson. Haven't entered my fantasias code.magicalwands wrote:I say it is worth waiting. It probably will happen again, unless DMR was overwhelmed by the response last time and had to fulfill more prizes than they expected / could handle reasonably. But as others have said, you may as well hold onto your codes because even without that promo, there may be another surprise promo like the blu ray player that you'll need them for later.Rescue Ranger wrote:Awesome, thanks!!!

The only situation I would say don't wait is if there's something you really want now that you can afford. In that case, don't try to have your cake and eat it, too -- redeem now, because it could sell out anytime without a "Quantities Limited" heads up.

Thanks for the heads up! I used it yesterday. I am still anticipating a double points day.buffalobill wrote:Type in the word COOL for a cool 50 points towards cool prizes.
Also, I noticed the Jim Shore Nana figurine is now gone, which is somewhat of a letdown. I really want that Donald Duck figurine, but, with my luck, it will be gone too by the time I get enough points for it.

My birthday was yesterday, so Disney Movie Rewards emailed me with my 100 point link, which I was very happy to receive. But when I clicked it, it just brought me to the site and said Invalid code. I was in my account, the account with the email they sent the birthday message to. Has anybody else ever had this issue? Any idea if there is anything I could try to do?

This is probably a silly question, but I'm sort of new to this DMR thing. I haven't entered any points (at least not since the program started and mine expired due to not logging in) but I calculated them to see where I stand. Anyway, I don't really understand the titles that were released pre-DMR. Do you just get lucky and find a code in a newly printed one or do you have to do the proof of purchase thing with your receipt? I don't have my movies with me, so I can't check for myself... Once again, I'm sure this is a dumb question.
I'm selective with my DVD purchasing, so I don't have nearly as many points as the rest of you! Out of the current rewards, I like the BATB lithograph set (I have some other lithos and it would fit in nicely) and the silly scaled replica of WALL-E. I have no idea where I'd put the latter, but I sort of love the idea of having a large Pixar character in my home, and I'm obsessed enough to set aside the space for it.
That said, I'm wondering how sweet the collectibles section gets when it's under 3k. I do like the two rewards I just mentioned, though.

I always assumed that when Disney started adding titles to DMR that weren't originally eligible, that they started to pull the old stock off the shelves and replace them when newly packaged ones (with the DMR logo on the outside and a code insert on the inside). If they don't do that, or you happen to get an old copy or even just a copy that's missing the insert (which can even happen with a new release), then you have to do the proof of purchase thing.brownie wrote:This is probably a silly question, but I'm sort of new to this DMR thing. On the off chance you're talking about discs you bought before the program started, then know that even if they're eligible now, you can't claim them unless the receipt date falls after the eligibility date on the website.

Wall-e scaled replica
Anyone redeemed their points for the Wall-e scaled replica?
I would like to know how large is the package they send you the folded parts in.

Thanks for the info. The movies I'm talking about were mostly purchased back in the day, around 2004-2005, so they wouldn't count. Oh well!cityguy wrote:I always assumed that when Disney started adding titles to DMR that weren't originally eligible, that they started to pull the old stock off the shelves and replace them when newly packaged ones (with the DMR logo on the outside and a code insert on the inside). I've thought about it and I think I'm going to enter my points in when I get back to school (where my DVD collection is) and take the Wall-E replica and BATB lithos if they're still available.
