I've unfortunately not been able to buy many CDs (I think 4 the whole year). :( So I probably would have a better song list. Anyway, this is way more than 5, but these are my favorite songs from 2010 (that I've managed to hear).

"Animal" ~ Neon Trees
"If I Die Young" ~ The Band Perry
"Elevator" ~ David Archuleta
"Mine" ~ Taylor Swift
"I Pray For You" ~ Jaron and the Long Road to Love
"The One That Got Away" ~ Katy Perry (it's the best on her album, imo)
"Bittersweet" ~ Fantasia
"Firework" ~ Katy Perry (she's not a good singer and the songs can be weak, but I like this song for some reason)
"Hey, Soul Sister" ~ Train
"Enchanted" ~ Taylor Swift
"If I Was A Boy" ~ Reba cover of Beyonce (it's more low-key and sincere than Beyonce's, imo; I like Beyonce, but sometimes her voice can lack personality)
"Even Angels" ~ Fantasia
"Don't You Wanna Stay" ~ Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson (not a great song, but Clarkson sounds incredible; Jason is one of the better generic country guys)
"Need You Now" ~ Lady Antebellum
"Note to God" ~ Charice (this isn't a great song, but I wasn't able to get her album and she's a great singer, so...)

If we're also talking shows, movies, etc.:

"Falling Slowly" ~ Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze
"There's A Place For Us" ~ Carrie Underwood
"Valerie" ~ Glee Cast
"Hey, Soul Sister" ~ Glee Cast & Darren Criss
"Ohio" ~ Glee Cast & Carol Burnett
"Happy Days Are Here Again" ~ Glee Cast
"Toxic" ~ Glee Cast (Britney made this song sound horrible when she had it out, but they actually made it sound good for me. :o )
"Just the Way Your Are" ~ Glee Cast (I really need to get Bruno Mars' albums)
"Mother Knows Best" ~ Tangled (Donna Murphy)

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

I really haven't been listening to nearly enough new music. So, until I see some more ideas from other members, my list is pretty bone-dry.

1. Goldfrapp - "Alive"
2. Ke$ha - "Your Love is My Drug"

Honorable Mentions:
1. Katy Perry - "Teenage Dream"
2. Ke$ha - "Boots & Boys"
3. Ke$ha - "Dinosaur"

I wouldn't know about 5 songs, but one that I really like is 'Empire State of Mind' (both the Alicia Keys solo version, and the duet with Jay-Z).
