My friend & I were sitting around playing with some of her art supplies last night, and thus Sculpey Pascal & Flynn were born....I'm terrible at this kind of thing but it was a lot of fun! I'm going to try & make Rapunzel next
@TangledInDreams Thanks! WallE is one of my favorite Pixar movies
@Phan258 I'm horrible at art. I couldn't have done that XD
Btw, on Fanfiction.net is it OK to write a fanfic about earlier ideas about the film and post it on the Tangled section? I sort of wanted to rewrite Rapunzel Unbraided (with the same characters and everything) and post it on there, but I'm unsure if it will be booted off. I've never wrote fanfiction before, and I feel really odd asking this question.
phan258- awesome sculptures! I'm definitely digging the Flynn one!

It should be fine. You may want to include the letters "AU" (which stand for "Alternate Universe") in your description, though.

the funny part was the description on the ornament said "Rapunzel from Disney/PIXAR's Rapunzel"
I saw it too! but I didn't just see it, I bought it

But mine said Disney's Tangled and Disney's animated classic without Pixar typos anywhere
Anyone else still think Tangled's budget is ridiculously high, especially for a solo CG film?
By the way, so far, the film's earned an estimate of $104 million. In only a little over two weeks. Geez, not even Bolt, The Princess and the Frog or even Enchanted managed to get that much in that amount of time.
Okay, true, TPatF wasn't even released nationwide at that time, and Bolt the Friday before that Thanksgiving weekend. But you get the gist.

Lol, every message i've seen of you lately is about Tangled's budget. It is high ofcourse, i thought it was the second most expensive film ever made, even more expensive than avatar. But i think Tangled can handle it, and even if it won't make 260 million Disney will still consider it a succes.

Using Toy Story 3's budget of 200 million USD, I don't think it ridiculously high. This is taking in consideration that a) the amount of new technology developed and researched for the purpose of this film and b) the fact this movie was scrapped and started again from scratch, with a production period double TS3's (I think).
I kind of see this movie as Sleeping Beauty II in terms of budget.

Wow, you're really beating this dead horse. Your arms must be really tired by now.
Anyway, it is highly likely that the $260 million budget that includes Rapunzel Unbraided is probably not the figure Disney is looking at. The budget for Tangled and Tangled only is $150 million and Disney is using that as a measuring figure to see if it will make a profit.
My assessment = Don't worry, Jedi. Disney has already pronounced Tangled as a hit and its weekend numbers are performing very similar to Toy Story 2. Even with Yogi Bear on the horizon, I think Tangled could still hold on its audience. Toy Story 2, for instance, still managed to reach $245 million domestically even when it was competing head-to-head with Stuart Little.

Someone has uploaded all the dutch versions of the songs onto youtube.
i see the light: (the rest you can find on her channel) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCee7Ld4 ... re=related
the weird thing about these official dubs is that they sung over the English dub, what you hear during the I've got a dream one. Just listen to the part "Bruiser knits, killler sews."
Very weird and unprofessional. But whatever, i'm glad someone finally uploaded them. Bytheway if you haven't seen the film, then dont watch these

Exactly. They HAVE to include all of the Rapunzel Unbraided budget with Tangled for accounting purposes only. The film should finish with at least $175 million if not more, which will pass Disney's Tangled-only budget of around $150 million...PLUS overseas revenue and the insane amount of dolls they are selling for Christmas. I saw two mothers seriously fighting over the last Rapunzel doll on the shelf at the toy store yesterday. So yeah, Disney is grinning from ear to ear over Tangled.

Yes. Another cow to milk.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

Geez, I've heard of that kind of stuff in cartoons/TV shows, but that sounds pretty drastic.

This isn't the case in the actual dubbed version. You don't hear the English voices.
The uploader just recorded the Dutch songs and played them over the (already uploaded) video's with the English songs, without removing the audio from the original video.
