How is that even possible? All Rapunzel does is stay in her tower. And you can't have a story with Mother Gothel involved in a good way, because then you start feeling sympathy for her but then realize: Oh wait, she goes up in dust the other movie.. and she hurt Rapunzels love.

I would like to see some more of Flynn Rider and that sounds perverted but i mean his backstory ofcourse xD

Please no prequels or sequels - - but re-title the movie Disney's "Rapunzel" for reissue and video.

If we must have another film, I wouldn't mind Flynn's backstory prior to meeting Rapunzel (how did he become a thief?), or maybe a short about their wedding or Rapunzel's coronation. But I'd much rather we didn't.

I can only really see an interesting Mother Gothel backstory. Because she's 300.. or 400 years old. She's lived through some crazy stuff. Maybe something that chronicles her early life up until she finds the magic flower.

The opening of the film sort of left that open. Who is she? How did she know about the flower? What the heck has she been doing all these years anyway?

If they must do a prequel/sequel, that sounds like the only interesting thing. Giver her a backstory with a bunch of crazy sisters. Make her unloved or whatever. Some broadway-ish tunes to go with it. I'd see that.

There's not much to say about Rapunzel or Flynn in my opinion. Tangled covered that. Unless we dip into DTV-ish stories... ew.

Hey guys,

I co-host an animated film podcast and our next episode is a review/opinion show on "Tangled". If anybody would like to email me any thoughts about this film for the show it would be very much appreciated. On thing I'm looking for is any info about this films presence in the parks and to what extent. It's fine if the emails are longer as well. :p

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here by asking this and if I am I apologize. I know there are rules about advertising, but I'm not sure if this counts since I don't profit from this. Also, I'll be sure to direct people to this site in my next episode to make up for it. :)

Thanks a lot
-Geoff

Rapunzel: Reloaded "Bigger, Badder...Hairier"

EDIT: How about "It Takes Two to Tangle"

It works on so many levels!

Little things I noticed during my... fourth viewing.

- - Ulf the mime. The 'Oh noes!' face he makes behind the pillar when the captain of the guard enters the pub - priceless.

- - Is it just me, or did that skeleton in the tunnel resemble a certain young Viking? :)

Or we do "Little Mermaid 2" all over again. If 90% of the Tangled fanfics I've read include the main couple having children. I hate the idea personally, and when I picture it it comes out looking too much like Shrek 3, but still, Rapunzel DID have kids in the original fairy tale (and had to raise them in the wild all by herself. She officially wins mother of the year.)

I was actually shocked at how good the movie was! After seeing the trailer so many times when Toy Story 3 was out (and from the few other movies I saw lol) I was starting to get kind of tired and maybe even annoyed with it, but after seeing it I'm really really glad I did because it was very well-done! Bravo, Disney.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
