Really? I'm in France at the moment again (for the next few months as well), so I missed this. I mean, I saw a trailer for it before Toy Story 3 back in July/August, but REALLY? It came out in cinemas? Well, guessed I missed it, along with the Back to the Future re-release (which I am quite miffed about missing :x).

Yup, it certainly did ! It wasnt as limited as Tink 2; this one was much more heavily promoted, with a longer, wider release. I saw it myself twice in the cinema; once dragging my boyfriend kicking and screaming, and then again with my neighbour's kids. It was excellent seeing it on the big screen, but it is a shame that they are waiting so long to release it on DVD ! I suppose its the same wait time as everything else from cinema to DVD.

THEY PUT THAT ONE OUT IN CINEMAS TOO??????!!!!!!!! :o

Gosh, I'm really not that much of an attentive Disney fan after all. Next thing you know, I'll be a sabotage executive for Dreamworks against Disney!

Wonderlicious, you can now no longer post on UD ..... as you have failed the Tink test. Go now, and think about what you have done.

But seriously, yeah, Tink 2 was in cinemas as well ! Think it was just playing in Cineworld cinemas though, so as I said, quite limited.

Fine, I'll go and post on UltimateDreamworks.com, where I'll talk to all the cool members: Escapade, Dreamworks Duster, Super Fiona, TheSequelOfDreamworks, farfarawayoverthecliffs and SpringHeelPanda. Plus, the webmaster, Lucas, and his three associates (Kevin, Darren and Renée) are really cool. Laterz. ;)

Lol, I'm gonna make my hole even deeper, but I'll admit to hardly noticing the second Tinker Bell film come out at all (aside from the review on UD). Obviously I'm proving to not be the world's greatest Disney Fairies fan (I'd even make Renata "Fairy and Princess Hater" Joy blush). Though in all fairness, I was preoccupied by other things around the time it came out. :|

Say hi to enigmaworks while you're there.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the movies thus far, and the second one is probably my favorite of the bunch. I'd love to see more of Tink losing her temper. :D

lol, enigmaworks is also cool. She loves some good old Milk Fuds with her popcorn (as does Escapade).

At the risk of going completely off-topic . . .

Woah, Milk Fudds!

Yes, I know I added an extra d, but you made me think of this guy. :p And now back to your regularly scheduled Tinker Bell thread. ;)

Does anyone still wonder if these movies will somehow involve or end with Tink meeting Peter? I am enjoying them for what they are, yet can't help but feel her personality isn't evolving toward who she is Peter Pan. Maybe falling in love with him makes her extra possessive.

You know Margos, I have come to love your opinions and thoughts on Tink and her movies here on UD; I look forward to reading your posts, and more often then not, I always agree with your views.

I would love to have a proper discussion with you about Tink's world !! :)
Thanks! :D

anyone know why the Bridgit Mendler version of song "How to Believe" (from Great Fairy Rescue) is not available on iTunes? Only Ruby Summer's version is on there...?!?!
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Wikipedia is showing that Bella Thorne will be singing a song for Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods called "Time to Mystery, Time to Winter". But then seeing that Wikipedia also show the release date as being Feb. 8th 2011 I'm not sure how true this is.

Disney Channel Premiere of Tinker Bell Films

Post by Disney's Divinity »

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure and Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue are premiering on the Disney Channel this Saturday (around 4:30pm, I think). :)

I just happened to have turned it to the channel when the commercial came on. I wanted to make a thread for it because I wasn't sure if there were multiple Tinker Bell threads. Plus, some people who don't read those threads might like to know it's premiering (like me :D ).

They look a bit cheesy, but I would like to see them. Don't think I'd buy them though.

actually, Lost treasure has already aired a few times (since it has been on DVD/Blu Ray for a year now). Its just Great Fairy Rescue having its official premiere.

Let me know when they premiere Enchanted, which was in theaters three years ago and has yet to premiere on Disney.

I didn't plan on seeing any more Tinker Bell movies beyond the first, because the first was really boring. And it seemed too similar to several other fairy stories I'm familiar with.

I did find out that Recess creators Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere had a hand in writing the second movie. Maybe I should check it out?
