Anyway, I will try to find out in which german cities they will show the original. Usually in big cities like Berlin, Munich or Hamburg it's no problem.
Concerning the marketing: the whole european marketing for the film seems weird to me. Why don't they show it on Disney XD or other kids channels in Holland? On Disney XD they could send it for free and they don't use the oppurtunity? Sometimes I think Disney wants their films to fail.
In Germany they don't show any clips on TV. The whole marketing here is viral which is similarly dumb.
Okay, i hope you can see the original version anyways
Have you never seen any trailer on German tv? Here they show the surprise trailer now and then, only they shorten it. And they make Rapunzel say:'I can't believe i did it!' which makes it sound perverted, they'd better just let her say: i can't believe i did THIS. xD
You know what's even weirder? The guy who's the new face for the Dutch Disney XD is the Dutch voice of Flynn. You'd think they'd use him to mention it or market the movie to kids...but they don't.
I know, Levi van Kempen, right? I mean c'mon, they show trailers for Tron Legacy and for Toy Story and a LOT of trailers for Despicable me, which isn't disney nor dreamworks. But show the Rapunzel trailer? NO way. it's puzzling to me.
I remember screaming a bit when I watched the Kingdom Dance for the first time. My friend nudged me and told me to shut up XD
Yup. Nothing like an awkward Disney moment to end a romantic montage.
Also, I think they swapped sound for all the musical numbers. Nobody speaks in the Kingdom Dance, Mother Knows Best and When Will My Life Begin sound oddly out of sync and You Are Not Leaving This Tower has horrible sound quaility.

I love this scene, even though i havent seen the movie yet i think this'll be my favorite scene.

I do not mind that it is called, "Tangled," it is just that I miss the name, "Rapunzel," very much, but I went to see the movie anyway, and I find it good. This is optional. You do not have to do it, unless if you want to. Sorry for being picky though.
Here you go:
I know it's not a DVD cover but I figured you would settle for a Blu-Ray one

And the best part: It started with Walt Disney Pictures Presents: Rapunzel. And it was the original English language version. Thanks Disney Distribution Netherlands for not caving in to lame-ass marketing techniques.

Lucky bastard, I'm jealous.
Thank you.
That IS amazing. I don't care if it's not DVD. Everythings better in Blu XD. I think this poster is much more fitting than one of the USA posters. I would hate to see any of those posters as the DVD cover.

I apologize if this has been brought up before, but why didn't Flynn/Eugene cut Rapunzel's hair after she healed his wound? I don't understand why he didn't want her to heal him.

Because he would rather die than see gothel keep her trapped in the tower.
And Gothel. And he was chained so he properly broke free?
and its a much better story

Now that i think of it, that actually doesn't make sense, because he easily could have cut it off right after she sings the song.. Okay i'm confused now. Can someone clear this up?
Maybe some of you guys remember this wonderful and huge picture, that someone created and posted on the internet.
Well, I added Rapunzel to it. I tried it as good as I could.
Hope you like it
In response to the topic about blood, there was also blood in Atlantis two times. First when Kida heals Milo and then later when Rourke punches him in the face.

It's a good question. I personally read Eugene as having some self-esteem issues–when Rapunzel asks if Flynnigan Rider was a thief, Eugene seems kind of put out by the fact he couldn't find a better way to achieve his dream of fabulous riches. At that point, I think he doesn't see himself as worth Rapunzel's freedom–the blood loss probably didn't help, either.
Also not sure about the Huntsman and Percy being villains but that was from prior so...
Well, I guess it's kind of iffy about the Huntsman since he is ready to carry out the deed but even before he has doubts. And I don't qualify Percy as a villain since he joined the good guys. Heck, I don't even think he had much interest in what Ratcliffe was doing.
