Hopefully this question is okay. I'm looking to see if anyone has ever had any good experiences with Black Friday as far as Disney DVDs and BluRays. I'm wondering to see if the stores will have any good deals on Disney movies I'm looking to buy.
Thanx
Disney Black Friday Deals
Black Friday deals
Amazon has some great deals online during black friday. Keep an eye out online, and some nice Disney dvds should be made available. I picked up a nice Cars special set that way last year for my son.

This is a bit of a pre-Black Friday deal, but Target has a $5 off any Disney Blu-ray $16.99 or more coupon in their flier in the Sunday paper this weekend. The sale ends this Wednesday 11/24/10.
I went and got the Toy Story Blu/DVD combo for $14.99 after coupon (was $19.99), and may be going back on Tuesday to get Toy Story 2 (same price) if I can get a second coupon from a friend.
I was going to wait and see if the Toy Story combos would go any lower on Black Friday, but this deal was good, plus I don't have to fight the crowds at 4 AM! I am almost hoping I don't see any really good deals because I really don't want to go out on Friday!

I saw that but the two BluRay+DVD combo packs I'm badly trying to get are the limited repackaged sets that only Best Buy is selling. Otherwise, I would be all over this!MJW wrote:This is a bit of a pre-Black Friday deal, but Target has a $5 off any Disney Blu-ray $16.99 or more coupon in their flier in the Sunday paper this weekend. From my experience, I don't think the fliers in store usually have the coupons, just the advertised sales. You would probably need to get the coupon from the flier that came in the Sunday paper. I checked Target's website but the coupons are not there either.Maerj wrote:I went to Target today and couldn't find any of the fliers with the coupons in it.

Those of you who are lucky enough to have an Ultimate Electronics store in your area, should know that they have an unadvertised special starting Tuesday - at least here in Wichita, they do - All Disney Blu-ray +DVD combo packs, including Toy Story and Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are selling for 2 for $30. In my book, that's $15 bucks a set, and there is no coupon or minimum purchase required other than must be bought in lots of 2.
Check out your Ultimate Electronics store and see if they have this sale. I picked up Monster, Inc. and A Bug's Life already and Wednesday I hope to get two others.

Just got one from a relative's newspaper. I'll head out to Target tomorrow night and see what I can get.MJW wrote:From my experience, I don't think the fliers in store usually have the coupons, just the advertised sales. I was able to get a second coupon from a friend, so I'm going back to Target today, too. I'll probably be getting Toy Story 2.
So, in the end I will have been able to get TS and TS2 for $14.99 each (as long as TS2 is still there today). Here's hoping that it doesn't go on sale for like $9.99 on Black Friday, lol. Even if it did, I doubt I'd go out anyway; my sister and I went to Circuit City a few years back on Black Friday right before they opened. The line was stretched out the door and 3/4 of the way around the building. Once we finally got in, you could BARELY move and it took about 2 hours to get through the checkout line.
The Target sale ends tomorrow Wednedsay 11/24 if anyone else has the coupon and is considering going.
