Hahaha, I didn't even notice Aurora wasn't in there! Poor thing

I love the promo with Zach! The campfire scene is great!

After seeing that I went and re-watched some of the old trailers, and saw that this one's music is actually the end credits song by Grace Potter (from :15 to :38, that is): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYqpId9tj18

I love the song, it was a really happy and upbeat cap to the movie!

But I guess Rapunzel is replacing Aurora now, huh?
I actually don't care so much about that.. Aurora was kind of an boring, characterless princess to me.
Well, from my observations (not that I like/buy this sorta merchandise), she's probably absent out of sheer coincidence. They don't necessarily have all the princesses grouped together for all pieces of merchandise. I don't think that, because of a single, low-key toy set, Aurora is gonna get the chop. ;)

HEY ! I HAD EN EPIPHANY! I can see that many (including me !) are wondering about the movie Finale; We all hope it's a classical finale, and not something uninspired and inexistant like Mulan's one for example… Personnally, i don't mind about which Song reprise it's gonna be. Just want something beautiful and i think it will be, and i think i found it and i think we had it under around our hears from the very beginning and it's a very beautiful instrumental piece… in the "Creating the Look" featurette…!!!!!!!!! (anyway someone confirmed that featurette music was all from the movie !) Please listen carefully from 2.35 to the end… isn't a stirring Menken Finale ? Bet this is the movie one ! Wish it is. So perfectly moving intoxicating and Disneyish and magic no ? What do u think ? Maybe Phan and those who have seen the movie will remember when listening to it again and will confirm…
Anyway, we will know it by the 15th november, date of soundtrack release

EDIT: The video I had posted is exactly the same with the previous Pantene commercial only this is out of sync. I hadn't noticed that before I posted it here.

Look at her hair at 0:28. It's like a golden waterfall! This might become my new favourite Disney movie

It seems we'll get soon music samples of Tangled Soundtrack! =)
Look:

http://music.barnesandnoble.com/Tangled/e/50087169138

We have even the duration of all tracks!!! =)

1 When Will My Life Begin 2:32
2 When Will My Life Begin (Reprise 1) 1:03
3 Mother Knows Best 3:10
4 When Will My Life Begin (Reprise 2) 2:06
5 I've Got a Dream 3:11
6 Mother Knows Best (Reprise) 1:38
7 I See the Light 3:44
8 Healing Incantation 0:54
9 Flynn Wanted 2:51
10 Prologue 2:03
11 Horse With No Rider 1:57
12 Escape Route 1:57
13 Campfire 3:22
14 Kingdom Dance 2:20
15 Waiting For the Lights 2:48
16 Return To Mother 2:07
17 Realization and Escape 5:51
18 The Tear Heals 7:38
19 Kingdom Celebration 1:51
20 Something That I Want 2:43

I'm surprised!! Some reprises are very long! (I mean, because reprises usually are short songs); but maybe it's like the reprise of Part of your world, it starts with a very long time of music and at the end Ariel sings a little paragraph.... Well, we'll have to wait a little more to know that stuff =)

I am surprised but excited about how long the reprises are!

Including the reprises Tangled has a few more songs then some of the past Disney musicals

There are so many new ads for Tangled on TV this week! I have seen them on a bunch of different stations..most of the ads center on Rapunzel too which is a refreshing change. This movie rocks :D

It's disappointing that they are promoting the film only in those two categories. :(

I got an email from Disney this afternoon inviting me to a complimentary advanced screening of Tangled. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town on a business trip when it comes to Cincinnati. Looks like they were all taken anyway.

Posting it just in case any of you are able to find a screening in your area that still has availability (probably not since I received the email about 6 hours ago . . . apologies for the delay in getting this posted):

My thoughts exactly, they should at least try for all the songs, art direction, and possibly best picture! I mean who knows right!

And I will be furious of Toy Story is considered for best picture...

Also! It's kinda amusing how they are portraying the film for the Academy members compared to the marketing we have been getting.

Why would you be furious? Considering that the Best Picture category has expanded to 10 nominees and that Toy Story 3 received almost universal praise from critics and audiences, it's close to a lock. And it completely deserves it, considering how much love they poured into a sequel that could have easily been a mere pedestrian cash cow.

Very excited for Tangled. This comes from a guy who downloaded The Princess and the Frog soundtrack weeks before it was released last year and sang every lyric of "Friends on the Other Side" in the theater. I don't think the general public even cares about a Best Picture contender (or any other awards) with Tangled - I, for one, just want to sit glued to my seat for its running length, be thoroughly entertained and lost in an enchanting story with fun characters and catchy, well-written songs. That's all I ask. Anything more is a bonus. I'm a little let down that this is not a 2D movie, but I feel like a handful of Menken songs make up for that slight. Extremely interested to see the art of Tangled, perhaps more than anything else. Great thread you have got here, love the enthusiasm.

RIPJoeRanft I would only be furious because Disney could at least give their own films a chance to be considered, instead of just catering to Pixar.
