Grover's Smell Like a Monster

Post by Barbossa »

This is great, just like the Muppet short vids on Youtube:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zkd5dJIVjgM?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zkd5dJIVjgM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

That made me smile and laugh so much! Sesame Street always was the clever one for kids...and sometimes, adults!

Grover is my hero (did you see his Waiter videos? Especially the one where he makes up rhymes so that he remembers what the "bald headed" guy ordered).

The best thing about that video is that, unlike the original Old Spice guy, he is trying to be cool and can't keep it together... His fantasy-commercial keeps hitting bumps and he has to correct himself when he makes mistakes or things don't go right.

I've always known that Sesame Street was fun, if you were in the right mood. But this qualifies as extraordinarily intelligent in my book. I guess I must have missed on some great stuff not watching the show more often.

I love that one. But my absolute favorite Grover & Mr. Johnson sketch is this one:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0GOGNE0nWHk?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0GOGNE0nWHk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I personally can't stand those Old Spice commercials...but this parody is great!

I love the cow part the best.
