How are these movies? I'm a big fan of the whole cast and Tarantino and to some extent, Rodriguez. How are the bonus features?

If you didn't see this in the theater I don't want to spoil it for you. It looks like a movie that has been ground up in a projector several times, spit out, and then put together, very poorly. There is missing footage (planned as part of the presentation) and even a missing reel (with apologies from the management). The Faux Trailers for "Machete", "Thanksgiving", "Don't" and "Werewolf Women of the SS" are hilarious. You don't want to take anything too seriously with this 3 hour and 10 minute film that is now available on Blu-ray as it was shown in the theater for the very first time.

The second disc is filled with over 2 hours of extras never seen before. Behind the scenes making of the faux trailers including director's commentary from Rob Zombie, and others. All in all it is a great package and the "R" rating is there for a reason.

I personally love this movie and was disappointed that they put the films out in single editions and cleaned them up and put back in the missing footage. They just didn't seem the same, so I welcomed this release with open arms.

"Death Proof" is 100% Tarantino at his best, and just amazes me that it plays so well with Rodriguez's "Planet Terror".

Is it worth the MSRP $29.99? You betcha, but this week is new release week and it is on sale.

Seriously, you think I'd be stupid to buy the welfare/trailer trash version?

Got the real deal:

Thanks.

And yes. It's a rare 80's horror film with almost no real violence or gore (just a tiny bit). A little mood, a little creepy, and a lot of excitement. Real rough at the start, but it gets a lot better. I seem to remember a couple good scares, some good makeup, and bizarre music.

Thanks. I sure did. Set me back in the 3-digit range. (But if you can't splurge on B-day, you might as well jump in a lake...... and not climb out.)

I just love our local K-Mart. We only have two stores in town and the one closest to me is always streeting movies on the wrong day.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I was in my local K-Mart store getting some new socks and went by the electronics department as I always do when I am there, and here it was the whole display with product and everything for How To Train Your Dragon, both the regular DVD and the Blu-ray, and at the sale price.

I can happily say that I am home watching this fabulous movie on Blu-ray while others have to wait until the street date of Friday!!!
