I can’t seem to work it out and it automatically seems to play the Special Edition from both the Fast Play and Menu. I've read through the past 10 pages or so here and checked out a few reviews, but I'm not having any luck figuring it out. Any ideas?
When the main menu comes up, you will see "play". Press "play". Then you will see the 3 viewing options. Simply use your up and down buttons on your remote to select one, then press "select/play". You should be good to go.

I take it the CD is the same one as they have packaged with BatB at Walmart here in Canada?

Or just go to the "Set Up" menu and choose there. sometimes, as there will be separate audio track choices for two of those versions. All three should be listed though.

"Everyday Princess" isn't from the soundtrack to TPATF... I can only assume it's from one of those "Tiana and Friends" type CDs or something. I wouldn't know, because unless it's a legit soundtrack I usually have no desire to ever listen to it.

Anyone got a pic of the bonus CD? I just want to compare it to the one they had at Walmart.

Thanks. I don't get a second menu at that point, it goes right through to the Special Edition when I press "play".

I will try and fiddle about around there some more. I tried last night without much success.

Same here! :D

Too bad the Target bonus CD isn't anything special. I would've prefered a coin purse similiar to the one they packaged with The Princess and the Frog's Blu-ray or, at least, a gold balloon with Lumiere on it. :P

Hey guys, I work at Toys R Us and I found out a super deal today at work. If you haven't picked up a copy of Beauty and the Beast yet, check this out. Instead of just one, you can get two copies of Beauty and the Beast DVD Blu Ray combo pack and two pre-orders for Toys Story 3 for like 10 bucks. Here's what you do:

The DVD - Blu Ray combo pack (NOT the Blu Ray - DVD combo pack) is on sale for $22. Print out two vendor coupons from beautyandthebeastcoupon.com and bring them in to Toys R Us. Grab two Toy Story 3 pre-orders and look around the Disney DVD section for a booklet with coupons in it. If you can't find one, ask guest service. Inside, there is a coupon for Beauty and the Beast - buy it with another Disney DVD and save $6. When you pre-order Toy Story, you automatically save $10 dollars on another Dinsey Blu Ray. Sooooo, you get $20 off from the pre-orders, $14 off for the in-store sale, $20 off for the vendor coupons and $6 off for the in-store coupon. I would do it ASAP because I think the sale on the DVD is over this Sunday.

Good luck guys. Should work out well, I just rang it up today. :)

I didn't see this in past pages, but if it's already been posted I apologize. I just received my copy of the book set from Disney Movie Club and thought I would share pictures. The book is very similar to the one that came with Snow White. I was worried that it would be a small copy of the new 'Tale as Old as Time: The Art and Making of Beauty and the Beast' book that came out last month. The artwork is very similar to the Best Buy steel case. The first 64 pages of the book covers the making of the film, with lots of concept art and behind the scenes photos. A lot of them can be found in the other book, but a few are unique to this set. The bulk of the book (99 pages) is devoted to retelling the story using a mix of screen caps and concept art. The final section is called 'Be Our Guest' and offers 13 recipes inspired by the film. This section is the biggest difference from the Snow White book. The third section in that book was devoted to the legacy of the film. I haven't had a chance to sit down and read it yet, but thumbing through it looks just as good as the Snow White book, but if you're looking for a more detailed read I recommend 'Tale as Old as Time," which is all about the history of the film.

Okay, now I'm wanting the book edition. You think they'll do this with all the Diamon Editions? cuz it would create a collection of them by making collector's books.

Why don't you guys just join then? It saves you money, since you'd be buying Disney movies anyways....

I got my copy at Target last week and I was confused when I saw two different slipcovers....one was BLUE and one was SILVER. Now why would they do this? I got the blue one due to the coupon showing the blue one. They both had the same discs (2 blu ray, one dvd) but one listed the DVD first and one listed the Blu Ray first.....its the exact same set....why would they need two "different" ones?

I don't think its fair that the UK gets a cool book....I'd rather have that than a silly bonus CD...

Is there a way to get the same book (the one that is the bonus) if you already have the Diamond edition blu-ray+dvd combo pack? Like from amazon or something?
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

The blue cover is a Blu-ray case, and the silver cover is a DVD case. Other than that they are the same. They do this because some people prefer the DVD case, or haven't upgraded to Blu-ray yet. That way they can buy the DVD case and have it match their collection now, but have the Blu-ray discs for when/if they buy a Blu-ray player.
