That would be David Yost. (And for the amount of times I've seen people make the allusion that they would've liked to see the Red Ranger and Blue Ranger get it on, I'd assume that means I'm not the only one who had a mad crush on him back in the early-mid 90's)Khonnor wrote:didn't see this posted yet, but the original blue ranger has finally come out of the closet and admitted he left the show for "being called a fa**ot" one too many times.
Producers claim he was a pain to work with however and left because he wanted more money and di'dn't get it.
HeAVY.
And the rumors of cast members leaving the show because they wanted more money were going around since I was a teenager- we're talking the same season they brought Rocky, Aisha, and Adam onto the show. 1994/95. Same time, of course- Jason (Austin St. John), Trini (Thuy Trang), and Zack (Walter Jones) left. No idea if they're all rumors or not. But, it's hard to hear this sort of thing. I gather you don't believe it. If there's any truth to it, you have to wonder who it was coming from. The core 5 characters were around each other a lot of the time. When Jason, Trini, and Zack left, he (Billy), Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly), and Jason David Frank (Tommy) were doing a lot of publicity together. Now, Jason David Frank is doing that UFC stuff. Cage-fighting. Amy Jo Johnson was a gymnastic like David Yost. When Thuy Trang died, I believe David Yost went to her funeral. So, they might have been rather close. It would be hard for me to believe she was part of the people who would insult him. Walter Jones left Power Rangers to do lots of bit parts, one of them working with a very out director (David De Coteau) on a movie with very overt gay themes. So... he had to be professional to work on projects as varied as teen stuff like Malibu Shores and trashy stuff like The Talisman.
If that's true, no wonder he asked for more money. Don't forget he came back to the show later on. In the Zeo incarnation. As did Austin St. John. But then, David left Zeo before Austin did. So, maybe Austin was one of the people who harrassed him. Or, maybe it was mostly the crew. Actors rarely leave scripted shows for non-health related personal reasons. Not unless they're like Amy Jo Johnson (who stayed the longest if I'm not mistaken, but is one of the most vocal speakers about the show and regards it as a total joke- which I don't blame her for). Unless they're tossed (as has happened to Saturday Night Live cast members) or the show's been on for 6-7 years or so (like Bea Arthur did on Golden Girls).
Re: The Gauy Thread
That's your opinion. The topic we were discussing was 'princesses in bang order' (which now has its own thread, thanks to slave2moonlight), and sex is different from love, even though sex can be an act of love. You wouldn't *have* to listen to Aurora the next morning. You could slip away before she wakes up, or kick her out before breakfast.Margos wrote:But sex is way more fun when you love someone. I wouldn't sleep with Aurora, even though she is beautiful, because then in the morning I would have to listen to her prattle on like an idiot. Who wants that?
I think both Taran and Eilowny are around the age of 14 or 15 years old, which is not that much younger than Ariel.Margos wrote:Anyway, my list was taken from the Disney Princess Franchise, but if people are being weird with the definition of the term "princess," then I would put Eilonwy below Snow White (I think she's even younger! UGH!)
Touché! (Another hetero-centred gaffe of mine.)Margos wrote:And Goliath, it depends who you talk to how related this is. In your case, this little game is the exact opposite of being related to a thread about being gay. In mine, it makes perfect sense, and is very related.
Oh, I completely agree! Maybe you've misunderstood me, or perhaps I haven't expressed myself well enough.ajmrowland wrote:I just dont wanna sound like a pedo, but I've never fully believed that you *had* to be 18 to have sex. If you did, then puberty would begin at that age rather than 15(at most).
I have no problems with two people who are underage having sex, as long as it's consentual. I don't even have problems with somebody who's 18 or 19 years old who has sex with somebody who's technically underage. I just wanted to make it clear that an adult (say, someone in his mid-twenties) having sex with an underage person, is not a good idea and it has legal consequences. Just wanted to add that as a 'disclaimer' before I mentioned Eilowny or Snow White (though I wasn't the first).

What store Ames? I am happy you have a job, and you are the assistant manager? Well, that is really big. How did I miss this...?
When Jessie got with Buzz I was like...oh...no girl for her? Well, I guess that breaks stereotypes...and I kinda thought she would like Woody when I was young and innocent...but...
Do you mean common for you, or common in the lesbian world? I can see how Jessie seems gay herself in many ways. I was also wondering about Cinderella with her work version of her, and the pigtails, but Jessie is way way more lesbo of course. Hope I didn't offend with any of that.Margos wrote:But if we're now talking about all Disney females... I'd have to put Jessica at the top of my list. Yeah, yeah, I know, pretty common choice. But still.

David Yost attended a Convention for the first time this month and held an interview (look up youtube user nopinkspandex) where he talked about the auditions, the movie, the cast etc etc...and why he left. Very interesting interview. He said it was mostly crew and directors and stuff that insulted him.
I was a big fan of the second black ranger, Adam (Johnny Young Bosch), man he was hot! I never liked Tommy and from what I've heard in the past David Yost and David Jason Frank didn't really get along either. Ah well.

Re: The Gay Thread
Well, first of all, I meant common as in, like, voted sexiest animated character on polls, usually beating out Betty Boop. I've never heard anyone refer to Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl by the name Jessica, even though I guess it is her full name, probably.... No, I was referring to a very different red-head, who is actually married to a male character... But she's into bestiality and stuff, so... that's kinda weird.Disney Duster wrote:Do you mean common for you, or common in the lesbian world? I can see how Jessie seems gay herself in many ways. Oh. Yes Jessica Rabbit is the sexiest Disney character ever.
I thought you meant Jessie from Toy Story. That's why I talked about her being with Buzz when she seemed like she could like girls. I mean, I know from other posts you really like her.

Yeah, not really in that way though. IDK, it's just weird since she's a toy and all. If she was human, then... yeah, I'd hit that.Disney Duster wrote:Oh. Yes Jessica Rabbit is the sexiest Disney character ever.

Just a quick update for those of you who have heard the Workboy Saga. As of yesterday, I'm not crushing on him anymore. I didn't want to crush on him the whole time, I just couldn't help it, but yesterday he did a couple things that just erased any crush I had on him. We're still friends, we still hang out a lot (even last night), and he's still gorgeous, but no crush. Just wanted to update you all!

I am certainly glad you aren't crushing on him anymore. And I am even more glad you didn't want to crush him the whole time, and tried not to. You were just curious about him. And now I'm curious as to what he did. Glad you're also not in a bad position with him, either, still friends.

Well, she didn't want to and I don't think it's a bad thing to hope for the best in someone's marriage? I just said I was glad, jeeze! I mean if she said she was miserable in her life then I would be glad for her to find something better, too.

Scores arrested in Belgrade after anti-gay riot
October 10th, 2010 | The BBC's Mark Lowen: "It got very nasty"
Anti-gay protesters have fought running battles with police in an effort to disrupt a Gay Pride march in Belgrade - the first in the city since 2001.
Rioters threw petrol bombs and stones at armed police, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets. The office of the ruling Democratic Party was briefly set on fire, and at least one shot was fired. Calm was eventually restored but more than 100 people, mostly police, were injured, with another 100 arrested. Sunday's march was the first Gay Pride parade in Serbia since a 2001 event was broken up in violent clashes provoked by far-right extremists.
Before the march, the head of the EU mission in Serbia, Vincent Degert, addressed around 1,000 gay activists and their supporters who gathered at a park in downtown Belgrade surrounded by riot police and armoured vehicles. "We are here to celebrate the values of tolerance, freedom of expression and assembly," Mr Degert told the crowd.
While the Gay Pride parade was moving though the city, several hundred protesters began chanting at those taking part as they tried to get close to the march. "The hunt has begun," the AFP news agency reported them as saying. "Death to homosexuals." Reports told of gangs of skinheads roaming the streets, throwing petrol bombs and setting off firecrackers as police battled to hold them back.
Thousands of police had sealed off central Belgrade to protect the event. While the march took place in a heavily-protected area in and around Manjez park, violence flared at several points further afield in central Belgrade. The Terazije boulevard was littered with rocks and debris by the time the rioting was quelled. Several cars were overturned and had been set on fire.
Democratic Party spokesperson Jelana Trivan said the violence had nothing to do with moral values. "These are hooligan gangs which must be punished severely," Ms Trivan said. The mayor of Belgrade, Dragan Djilas, said the rioters had used Gay Pride as an excuse for a brawl. "What's going on now has nothing to do with the Pride parade. Unfortunately there are always people who will use every opportunity to destroy their own city. Fortunately no lives were lost - this is the most important thing."
Marchers also bemoaned the continued evidence of agressive homophobia among some sections of Serbian society. "It is a shame for me to march, to stand for what I am, and to have thousands of cops protect me from hysteric [sic] nationalists," lesbian activist Milena, 36, told Reuters. A gay pride march planned last year was cancelled amid fears of violence. On Saturday, several thousand people had protested against the march. Right-wing groups say that homosexuality is contrary to Serbian religious and family values. The Serbian Orthodox Church condemned the parade on Friday but also warned against violence against participants.
The BBC's Mark Lowen says homosexuality is still largely a taboo in Serbia, a conservative and religious nation. This year's event was being seen as a test of how far the country has come from the ultra-nationalism and violence of the 1990s and on its path to EU membership.

Thanks...um, one thing he did was he kind of said (and demonstrated, sort of, hard to explain) that I was freaking out one morning, when in actuality, I was just not very talkative on our carpool to work. Another is him lying about his age, not just to me but to other people. Trust is my #1 thing for myself and other people, so that just killed it for me.Disney Duster wrote:I am certainly glad you aren't crushing on him anymore. That really sucks about the anti-gay riot; yesterday, Workboy invited me to the Orlando Pride event. (In a moment of wonderful honesty with me, he said that he was thinking for days to invite me but wasn't sure, but that he has always known since we've met that I'm a cool girl). And about his sexuality, he said that he's unsure at the moment. And he said, for the 2nd time in a couple weeks, that he's looking for long-term friends, so I think that we'll be really good friends for a long time to come. I still absolutely adore the guy, just not crushing on him.
It was my first gay pride event, and it was just alright. I mean, the openness was great, just all the love around, but as one used to Disney parades, the parade was lackluster (:p), and the entertainment wasn't that awesome. But I was glad to hang out with Workboy and his roomate's dog, and his roomate was pretty cool, too (although Workboy doesn't think so, haha). Oh, and on our way out, a guy totally hit on him...lol. Everyone <3's Workboy...the 3 of us plus the dog were walking, and the guy said, "Hey, sexy," or something, and then Workboy introduced the 3 of us plus the dog, and then we awkwardly talked about the dog and dogs in general, I guess, and then he asked Workboy if he's going out afterwards, and Workboy said that he wasn't sure. And then we were on our merry way.

Lol at the name Workboy. So he's unsure? That means he's gay. LOL, half-kidding, half...definately, lol.

It's funny how far-right, extremely conservative politicians in The Netherlands are all staunch defenders of homosexuals and equal rights (against the so-called 'islamization' of the country), while the same type of politicians in the US would be eliminated from the race if they supported gay rights like that. At least our racist, incompetent charlatans are gay-friendly.Lazario wrote:Yeah, the good news for gays around the world just keeps rolling in:
